That part sounds like people looking up to a hero as he's their final hope to save them from the evil...one they trust more than anything else in the world...just like all z fighters looked up to Gohan when he fought cell juniors.
What people don't realize is just how powerful this theme is. One being stands before all odds and calls forth all energy of the universe from all life forms and with the power of life to defeat the one evil in the universe (Freiza).

2:10 I ALWAYS picture when Gohan went ssj2 and was saving Krillin from the Cell Jrs. The look in his eyes in that moment gave me chills for days. His heart just couldn’t take one more loss, and with that glare you knew he was going protect his friends no matter the cost. It’s amazing how the soundtrack can just bring you back when you first saw the scenes attached to it. I still get the goosebumps hearing that mystical tune.

So have I. I heard that music so many times and I couldn't find the name for it but didn't realize it was part of the spirit bomb soundtrack, ingenious; a kickass soundtrack within a badass soundtrack!!
I love people who dismiss GT as non-canon because it was not written by Akira Toriyama, but whenever I bring up DS9, VOY, and RBOOT, who were not created by Gene Roddenberry, those same people are quick to say that that stuff's canon in relation to Star Trek. You people can't have it both ways. Either GT is canon, or Star Trek is not after season 4 or 5 of TNG.
Gene Roddenberry may have created it, but there were alot of different writers that wrote the story of each episode, then you had all the other staff like the model makers and the costume and set designers etc. Akira Toriyama wrote and drew Dragon Ball, with a little input on ideas from others. I remember liking GT at first when it came out but I completely lost interest toward the end of the Baby saga, I just remember it becoming very boring and in hindsight I am not happy with how many of the characters turned out to be. People are free to choose whether they want to accept GT or not.
Creating a comic and creating a TV show are two entirely different things, the biggest of which is that Akira Toriyama for the most part dealt with very few people while he was creating dbz. Gene Roddenberry on the other hand had very little creative control while the original tv show was being made and in fact wasn't even present during season 3 (although he did retain creative rights and became executive producer). If the original writers of Star Trek are taken as Canon then you must include the Animated Series episodes because a large portion of the episodes that were written for the original series but weren't shot ended up in the Animated Series. Also I think that if the creator of a franchises dismisses a show that's supposed to be a continuation of their work then I don't think it's canon. Gene Roddenberry never rebuked DS9 (according to wikipedia shortly before his death he gave the project his blessing) although we may never know what he would've thought of it had he lived long enough to see the episodes air. Akira Toriyama on the other hand has clearly stated that GT isn't canon.
I really can think of no memorable moments of where the suspense was so high like it was in DBZ. It just had much more unique and well thought out music imo. The new tunes are great but they sound like every other anime series. When you hear this you KNOW it's DBZ.
Spirit Bomb is not a Deus Ex. For one thing, it doesn't just pop out of nowhere, and second, the only time it's ever ended the fight and wrapped things up was at the end of Kid Buu. Every other time it's used, it just seems to make the victim angry.
This weakened him. Without Kaio's techniques, the battle would have been over at the start (and heck even beating earlier enemies would have been impossible).
Kai is literally the same story with the filler cut. Quit getting overly nostalgic. I really need to know about Gohan's abusive tutor, Marron needing to be informed about the events of the original DB despite her exiting the plot later, or Kame House getting flooded when Cell achieves his Perfect Form. All of that added so much to the plot.
@@DISTX- Because you would have to get decently far into the series to hear it. And by that point its not really worth it. If the Saiyan Saga and early parts of the Frieza Saga were scored then it would be a different story.

4:11 Piccolo: *after Super Buu's Human Extinction Attack* What have I done? I won't fail you, I'll wish you all back!
Goku: Kai. I can't sense the Earth.
Supreme Kai: Me too. They're gone. They all been killed.
Goku: They're gone?! All of them?! But they were there when I looked 5 minutes ago!
Supreme Kai: Buu eliminated them all with a single attack. There were millions of them, Goku.
*Human Extinction Attack, how do you like it?*
The spirit bomb. Your kidding a spirit bomb!
1:38-1:50 Northern Wastelands theme from DBZ Legacy of Goku 2
+Formina Sage Glad someone else noticed!
True fans we are.
The feeling from 1:32 to 1:54 invokes when an anime character is intensely focused on developing a technique. Like a montage of Naruto learning Rasengan or Ichigo learning his Bankai.
This part of the tune was very well used in the ep 96 when Goku charged towards Frieza. Gives chills everytime.
"People of Earth! There is a warrior fighting Majin Buu right now and he needs your help! We need you to share as much of your energy as possible!"
Love 4:12. Reminds me of SSJ Goku putting the fear of god in frieza in his new form.
That’s exactly what I think of too.
BobbythaBrave Dbz is life ND Goku (kakarot) is really a true hero nd my true hero for ever!!!
5 minutes is all that I need. It wont even take me that long to BEAT you and Leave with my FRIENDS on my SpaceShip
Reminds me of SSJW... Wait nvm.
Reminds me of Vegetas plan to kill kid Buu with the Spirit bomb
90s Kids who rushed home from school to watch this on Toonami. We are getting old my friends. But at least when we listen to this we can feel our youth again.
This is my favorite theme of Dbz. Love the frieza Saga and cell saga. Put your hands up for Goku's spirit bomb!
Faheem Hasan Dbz is life ND Goku( kakarot) is really a true hero nd my true hero forever !!!
2:04 I never realized how beautiful this part was 👌🏻
It’s Vangelis but low budget.
2:10 - 3:00 Favorite part with 2:44 being the absolute best!
Been watching the series during this summer. Couple episodes to go.
***** But who doesn't remember? Goku charging up the spirit bomb on Namek against Frieza. Tension was at it's highest.
***** I Remember!!! Hell, Yea!! The Golden Years Of My Childhood Was During The Namek Saga..
gives me the FEELS .
95tTony Lol...Me Too!
Bruce Faulconer.. he is so good for DBZ!
*snatches senzu beans from Cell*
“No games.”
Beggining of the song is when Gohan reveals himself as super saiyan 2 after the fog clears out before fighting cell juniors
Actually it starts after he pimp slaps the first Cell Junior's head off.
It was more of a karate chop than pimp slap but whatever.
Oh my god, I've been searching for this for so long.
Nostalgia.
People of the earth.......RAISE YOUR HANDS OR WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!
honestly the love i have for dragon ball z and bruces music is unbelievable many goosbumps i have given too dbz and its all thanks for bruce. i hope his back for supers english dub
+whodafunk Bruce didn't make most of the music. Most of it was made by people that worked for him.
+The Living Lapis we'll find me those motherfuckers, they need too burn a brother a cd
whodafunk I think there's one online. Look it up.
2:04
Trunks: "Don't you see what will happen if he keeps going like this?"
Vegeta: "If this goes on... then he will die."
When I was young I thought I was the only who love these dbz songs to death.
They're the best!
2:02-3:00 just amazing, i remmber it sooo well from watching DBZ, and listening to it again gives me the shivers, Such an amazing programme
Nothing beats the Faulconer music
Put this is the bloody games Falconer tracks are epic
02:04 Just a little bit more. It's not ready yet.
"Aren't you the one that's never stopped talking about how great of a hero Kakarot is?"
My Personal Favorite parts: 0:24-2:28, 3:00-3:45, and 4:20-5:42
Reply what your favorite parts of this awesome song :)
The last minute and half is my favorite part. The sounds carried a feeling of purity and rising hope, which is exaclty what the Spirit Bomb embodies
R.I.P Toriyama its been 2 months since your passing and this theme is this
0:25-0:52 All those epic stare downs..
ArmandtheWise yeahhhh
bruce faulconer is an amazing composer, his music made dragonball z come to life
He didn’t even compose this one
Goes Perfect with this scene - The Prince of Egypt (1998) - Parting the Red Sea Scene (9/10) when Moses splits the red sea with his staff start both videos at 1:33 and enjoy.
I always loved the cosmic feel to this track.
It’s Vangelis.
o my god, the first song before this one...im aliveeeeee! Thank you spirit for Bruce Faulconer's Spirit Mind and Soul and thank you for this uploader to exist! I love you so much i can cry of joyyyy!!! This soundtrack, i mean the whole american soundtrack did it for me, it means so much for me, it made me feel sooo all aliveeee.... thank you uploader for uploading this!!!! i can feel all love!!! I LOVE IT!!!!1 THANK SOURCE FOR MUSIC, FOR SOUND! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! IT'S OVER 9000
Faulconer made dbz feel so complete
As Freeza would say (paraphrasing) “What are you doing? Praying to your God?”
one of my favorite themes. It always played in a super tense, non-action scene
Faulconer is what Americanized Dragonball, making the other half of the world love the show. The emotions of every scene he portray very well through music. This one and vegeta powers up is so powerful
Well said!
I think only the US version had this soundtrack. It was already popular in South America and Europe with the original Japanese soundtrack left intact
@@lssjgaming1599 Nah in the Netherlands we had this version as well thankfully. Greatest OST ever IMO.
SPIRIT BOMB 🔵
🙌
🙌
2:10 I ALWAYS picture when Gohan went ssj2 and was saving Krillin from the Cell Jrs. The look in his eyes in that moment gave me chills for days. His heart just couldn’t take one more loss, and with that glare you knew he was going protect his friends no matter the cost. It’s amazing how the soundtrack can just bring you back when you first saw the scenes attached to it. I still get the goosebumps hearing that mystical tune.
@edntz can tell you’re new around here
@edntz I don’t refute to people who can’t spell Krillin lol, and you call me dumb 😂
I listened to this yesterday…………… now i find myself training with everything on the lone in the hyperbolic time chamber
1:40 everyone. One. Fourty. All I see is him toying with Frieza and bending in half nearly to the point of splitting him in 2. 90s US DBZ is the best version, I’m sorry. Plus, we get Pikkon there
Funny how such a destructive attack has such a peaceful theme.
Nothing like watching Dragon Ball Z when it was new for the first time!
@1:37
remembering downloading sprit bomb theme way back in high school when my mom bought me my first MP3 Player used to burn CDs XD. Never get old hearing this track. goodtimes goodtimes
I have been looking for that part that starts at 0:25 for fucking ever!!!
YES!!!!!
Bro same here they played it so many times when Gohan was ssj2! It felt so epic
that was exactly the same situation i had haha but it took me months cause there are so many tracks
when i hear it, it makes me feel like im playing the first doom game.s
*****
Can't. Kaguya did it.
your a dumbass for believing GT should be canon.
*****
And you're a dumbass if you think Toriyama can't or won't retcon GT.
I finally found it!! Epic song
You will never feel the same suspense and drama in Super or Kai than you would in Z. No comparison.
@@civilwarfare101 the music
@@DISTX-
Which didn't appear until episode 67.
@@civilwarfare101 how is that relevant?
@@DISTX-
Because you would have to get decently far into the series to hear it. And by that point its not really worth it. If the Saiyan Saga and early parts of the Frieza Saga were scored then it would be a different story.
Plays when ssj2 gohan is against the cell jr's
