- A Fairytale walk in a medieval Stone village .The town of Sonlerto lies in Bavona Valley (Val Bavona), arguably the wildest one among the valleys of Ticino. This spectacular side valley is part of the Maggia Valley. The whole region is part of the Lepontine Alps - a mountain range that covers various parts of Switzerland (Valais, Ticino, Uri, Graubünden) and Italy (Piedmont and Lombardy).
The Bavona Valley has seen massive rocks fall from mountains time and time again. Sometimes the stones are as big as houses. Locals then build new houses next to the stones after they fall. Locals refer to it as Splui. As such, it is no surprise that the houses in this area are built from stone.

Mark, are you using S-Log3 Ini in your videos or another profile this year?
Thanks ! also full manual focus ;) allot of work in post . . i had to change the exposure a lot allot set points ;) i only shoot S-log3 , i'm thinking switching to 4K 60p next year what do you think about 8K. . . i'm losing views right now with 8K ( also hard to edit 8K ) what is your opinion about that ?
If we compare 8K 30 and 4K 60, then each of these options has its advantages and disadvantages.
8K gives a sharp picture with more detail. I always watch your videos in 8K even on my 27-inch 4K mounting monitor and see the difference in quality compared to 4K.
There aren't many channels with real 8K video on UA-cam at the moment. And this surprises me, because 8K cameras have been on sale for two years.
The fact that you shoot in 8K is more of an advantage than a disadvantage, because new viewers find your channel more often.
Viewers have recently started to watch such videos less, most likely for other reasons. Economic and political problems in the world divert people's attention from the topic of traveling and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding world.
The only drawback of your 8K video is the lack of smoothness of the picture. 60 fps is much better than 30 fps, and the human eye is able to distinguish up to 100-150 fps.
I shoot 4k 60fps during the day and 4K50fps at night, but when Sony releases a camera with 8K60fps, I will try to change my Sony FX3 to it.

🎥😊 By the way, when you shoot 50-60 fps, you can not to use ND filter, but adjust the luminous flux using shutter speed, at 60 fps, the eyes almost do not notice inconsistencies with a short shutter speed. And the shutter speed is easy to change with DJI RS2 stabilizer wheel.
