THIS is a great one. You come off a long flight jet lagged and sometimes disoriented, especially at an airport where you've never been, and just wanna get out of there. Seeing the driver is a godsend and having him take over Bag duty is a welcome respite from the shlepping of luggage we all despise.

actully this one is the easiest to get caught, there are cameras at airports everywhere

This video (and scam) is completely ridiculous. Three people are really going to take all that time to drive to an airport to attempt to steal some luggage most probably containing clothes and a few other things? All at the risk of getting caught? Plus, an experienced driver would become suspicious if the "arriving" passengers arrive from the opposite direction from where they were supposed to be coming from. Also, the actual arriving passengers might have done this before and know right away that taking the luggage away while you wait is not how things are done. All that plus security cameras at every turn.
Ed Dombrowski I have noticed that is a common theme with this show.... usually something ridiculous like renting a house and rigging it with security cameras and have a team of eight people in on it all to scam some dude out of five pounds lmao
Yeah, I found myself just watching these vids just to see how ridiculous they are. The Hotel Check out one is comical too, also risking a lot just to acquire some luggage that probably isn't that valuable in the first place.

These scams are done in high volume. That is where it becomes lucrative.
also the entire things rigged, no airport has 1 guy waiting outside to pickup people and only 1 couple exiting. then what if the mark refuses to part with the luggage and say bring the car in front, whats the people in the other taxi going to do? get to the cab and say, oh never mind canceled, sorry mate were taking the bus.
These scams are just a blueprint of how a better scam can be executed

so.. what is the use of the airport cameras??
To look for suspicious looking people, who might be trying to get into the departure area without a ticket, or steal stuff from shops, or smuggle illegal items, or planting explosives, etc. There's pretty much nothing they can do if you just hand over your belongings to a stranger like that. All the camera sees is you watching the stranger walk away with your luggage. Nothing suspicious about that.
