Cam smith is a great golfer to replicate your game after. His playing style is so straight forward and simple. Thats why he is one of my favorite golfers.
Not when it comes to hitting driver, unless you enjoy snap hooking several drives per round into the trees....

@@zachkoeppen4063 Irrelevant 🤡 Cam Smith still snap hooks his bad drives hard left at least once per round. He admits himself that his driver is his worst club, but he makes up for it with great approach shots inside 160 yards and being the #1 putter in the game right now. These are facts not opinions so try not to cry.
You don’t know what a snap hook is. He’s not the best driver of the golf ball but you’re greatly exaggerating it
@@kyleconnor2759 🤦🏿♀️ Do you know what a shot tracer is? Snap hooks are Cam’s bad shot off the tee, you see them in every round he plays on LIV tour and IT IS A SNAP HOOK, but he is so good at scrambling that he can still escape with a par normally or bogey at worst
I started using his putting style with no practice strokes and just taking long looks before you take that finally stroke. But I think most important thing i think is remembering to be in the right alignment and pace everytime you are going to take a putt. It has helped me so much eliminate those bad 3 or 4 putts

never been a big believer in practice strokes while putting myself. after he won the players i started taking long looks over the ball and its helped quite a bit. gives you a moment to relax and get the cup to feel larger. as soon as i look back at the ball i go. love your videos m8
The key is too look at the hole much longer than you look at the ball, very short looks at the ball, longer looks at hole, then back to ball and go immediately.

Yes someone told me I can’t remember who not to take a practice stroke about 15 years ago and it was the best thing that ever happened to my putting.
Only recently realised I am a RH - left eye dominant player which I have learned can be an advantage.. Im only an average player but my putting has usually been slightly above average - for my level.. Cam Smith is one of the best putters Ive seen in years. Hopefully he wins a few more majors!
all I know is Cam was en Fuego down the stretch at the open... he just came out and won it. Amazing.

His stroke isn’t shorter on way through. It’s 50/50. Ball position slightly ahead of centre makes it look that way. Follow his hands/forearm structure and it’s the same. Plus focus on the putter face, not the entire blade.

Must be an Ozzie thing. I also don’t take practice swings or practice putting strokes. Just look at the hole and allow it to happen. Not that I play or putt like Cam but I am an Ozzie! 😂

Seldom do I see a Recreational Golfer attempt the Stroke that they will actually use for the upcoming Putt.

CAM SMITH BEST PUTTER IN GOLF
Its one of the reasons hes such a pleasure to watch. Keegan Bradley et al with all the practice strokes, tics (twirling the club head) are so boring and irritating to watch. Its entertainment lads - nobody watches it all goes away. Saw Bradley win recently and it was wholesome (nice guy/family) but I want to jump off a building waiting for him to hit the ball.
Speed, read, alignment, good contact, what could go wrong? Even the best in the world ? almost 2 putts per hole average…

Ok ok I’ll bite and Al the question: how can Cam Smith not line up his left dominant eye with the ball? I mean he wouldn’t line it up with his right eye even if he was right eye dominant so what the heck does that even mean?
The Point is Cam sets his Head Position to have his Left Eye directly Vertical over the Ball.
Set yourself up over a Putt, hold a Golf Ball directly under your Dominant Eye and let it Drop. Watch where, and what this Ball will land upon.
