The breeze, the smell of Sydney, the Opera house, all inspires me to go there. I can feel the vibes just by watching it. Thank you Alex, you really inspire me to go to Australia someday. 😎🇦🇺 Off to your next adventure, Peace ✌️
I love your style of vlogs - I feel like I'm being educated while enjoying beautiful content. Every video is like a little documentary, and I absolutely love it. Best travel vlogger I've come across on this platform by far. Keep it up Alex, your work is amazing.
Thank you so much Siw. Comments like yours keep me inspired and creating. Thank you for the kind words of encouragement. Stay tuned for my Thailand series!!
I studied my master in Sydney in 2017. Nice to see it from your video! Vivid memories. You are one of my favorite travel vlogers online since I tuned into the Vagabrothers channel a few years ago. It’s great to see you keep exploring and sharing the world with us. Best wishes to you, your wife, and even Marko. Enjoy life! Cheers🎉 Greeting from Taiwan.
I was prepared this time when notifications said you uploaded ... I ate lunch first knowing you would include shots of great food. LOL Thank you for the tour of y'alls travel!
I Highly recommend a boat trip from Manly to Watsons Bay restaurant "Doyles on the Beach". Nice ride, stunning views on the skyline of Sydney and last but not least very good food! Just in case.... Regards, Axel 🙏
alex loveee that you guys are traveling again!!!im caching up with all ur vids, you are a true inspiration ! i bought my first travel backpack and lear how to pack thanks to u guys and marko back in 2018!! hope your doing great !! cheers from argentina
Awesome vid! 72 hours ain’t enough time to check out all of Sydney but you did well and also went to some good places! Highly recommend blue mountains next time you visit (think Grand Canyon but covered with trees, it’s incredible). Of course there’s many more recommendations but glad you came down here and visited our beautiful city :).
Hey Alex! It all looks so beautiful I'm glad you didn't steal any money to get on the ferry to go to manly Beach this time lol life is better in life is good! Have a safe flight to Thailand I can't wait to see your footage there and don't forget to have the tom kah soup its soo GOOD!❤
So cool seeing own home town through your eyes. You chose some great places to go to in Manly. We haven't tried Anita gelato yet, but on a hot summer's day there's queues out the door. omg your parents must have been freaking out when you skipped out on them for a trip to Manly. sounds like you had the desire to explore from an early age!
Thanks for the video! Did you guys went during the Summer? It didn’t look crowded. Was is busy at all? I am planning a trip and still wondering when would be the best time to go.
As a life long Sydney-sider, it’s interesting to see someone else's take on the city. As for the Opera House, some locals call it the "dirty dishes", as it looks like dishes stacked in a dish rack.
Love the video and the story of you and your bro being troublemakers with that ferry trip! :) I was a kid who wandered off ALL the time and terrified my parents...and now I'm a world traveler too, haha.:p
Great story about you and your bro', but I can only imagine the heartache your parents were experiencing. You've been vagabonds ever since, eh?! Happy trails~Cass

The Sydney local tip is: Don't pay for a private cruise around the harbour, hop on a public ferry and go to Manly or Watsons Bay, or catch the Rivercat to Parramatta.
Pronounced Yorn ,Yern or Yarn Utzon no J . did you go inside the opera house for a tour ? Australia had to borrow money from England to build the bridge .The money has been repayed through road tolls, also the opera House was paid for with public money buying lottery tickets.
All I ever hear i how great Sydney is..everyone says "Sydney is a great place", "Sydney is beautiful",SYDNEY SYDNEY SYDNEY....All the attention Sydney gets is too much for me. What about Melbourne.. we got Flinders Street Station and trams you know.. It's too much I am tired of living in Sydney's shadow all the time... What about Melbourne it isn't fair...
Awesome place but such a shame the worlds oldest living cultures have been shunned from the place they called home for 65,000+ years. Thankful Māori culture is embedded and embraced here in NZ (yes we still have a long way to go) but it's far from the slums the Aboriginals have been reduced to living in 😞
In 2 weeks I am coming for the first time to Australia Sydney, all the way from Germany,, if I could found a friend here it would be amazing 😇because I am traveling solo 🥹

Thanks Sasha. We visited in April (autumn)
Sydney is a great choice!
It’s a beautiful city
In Sydney I love going to the fish market you can buy and pick out your own fish and they will fry it up for you to eat
I missed that
As a life long Sydney-sider, it’s interesting to see someone else's take on the city. As for the Opera House, some locals call it the "dirty dishes", as it looks like dishes stacked in a dish rack.
Haha - I haven’t heard that before
The Sydney Harbour Bridge is also known as the Coat Hanger
The Sydney Fish Markets is a must next time your in Town
Sounds awesome. Next time for sure
Welcome to Australia
Cheers! Thanks for your membership :)
YOu would enjoy Southbank and the art gallery/museum in Brisbane as well.
I need to come visit Brissy. I have relatives there - Aunt and Cousins
@@AlexanderAyling Definitely... ! I lived there 30 years. I don't live there now, but there are some amazing spots to see.
Te amamos aleeeeexxxxx ♥️
Muchas gracias Camila ❤️

Lol - it’s gotta be in the blood
You and Mark were naughty boys, poor mama.
😂👍🏽
Sweet story.
Haha thanks Robert

Haha yup!
I have a 24-hour layover in Sydney next week. You might have just inspired me to take the Manly Ferry!
Nice! It’s worth it. Check my other Sydney video!

@@AlexanderAyling I just did it this morning and it was exhilarating! I'm so glad I did it and I'm so glad I saw this video!
Do what Alex did and time your return to the city from Manly at dusk. At that time the view of the opera house, city & bridge is the best.
As a mom with 3 boys, OMG your poor parents😂😂. Great stories though.
Hahaha

Not sure what’s going on back in the States, with is the 4th VLog I’ve seen by Americans going thru Sydney in a Month 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I live in New Zealand and am a citizen in NZ and USA 🤙🏼
Manley beach.... Way!!!! Nicer than Bondi, all the fuss about Bondi, not fair.
Pronounced Yorn ,Yern or Yarn Utzon no J . did you go inside the opera house for a tour ? Australia had to borrow money from England to build the bridge .The money has been repayed through road tolls, also the opera House was paid for with public money buying lottery tickets.
bin chicken hehehe
I guess that’s what they call em haha
@@AlexanderAyling 😆 If you ever go to Southbank Brisbane, you will completely be thrown into the world of the "bin chicken" haha
Japanese subtitles???? what??????
And Chinese and Hindi :)

You can't change the past and didn't the Maori enslave the people of the Chatham islands
It's not because there hasn't been a lot of billions thrown at the problem.
Reduced? They create those slums themselves
