ok, I just started my mh4u journey b4 this I finished 3u with sns mastery, so CB was sorta familiar for me but when I faced gore in low rank, it made me feel like a turtle, I tried killing gore with sns, I owned it like a boss. May Ik what sorta combos u were using? Idk how did u directly transferred that charge to ur shield without making any "A" combo, also u directly did the SAED without swinging ur CB with the "A" combo....how do u do that ? ( I am still learning this weapon, because even though sns is good but it fails against few endgame monsters with high HP pool. Learned my lesson against the MH3u G rank alatreon)
Basically, you can charge your blade using xa+r while your cb is in axe mode. You can also charge it in sword mode using combo x+xa+r. And about that saed without using a combo, you can use it after doing GP r+x (guardpoint) you need timing to perform this to block certain attacks and perform SAED rx+a. Try it bro, CB is really fun and too op. 😊

This is my first MH (friend rec'd it, it's been a blast) and I am using CB. Do you have any tips in general, especially with how to actually use guard point? Also you can immediately AED out of guard point 😧??? It's so crazy how good you are with this shit, I am running for my life against gore magala
Basically, you need to memorized monster movements first. By then you can easily use GP and perform AED Successfully. Heres the trick, once you done a GP, press X+A then analog down or up (any direction you want).
@@bruteforce1203 Yo thanks for the reply! Okay glad to know how to do the AED out of it now. Unfortunately though, even when I know the monster is going to attack and when, I consistently miss the GP. Do you try to press it axe transition right as the attack is about to land, or a decent bit before? I'm really bad at it
@@Chuckychargeblade yes, you need to perform GP before the attack landed. Timing is everything in GP, otherwise it will fail. You can practice first on diablos since he always charge to you its easy to perform GP.
Ps. GP requires red shield. Also, skill guard+1 or +2 can make you can make it more successful.

Hi, I loved your video so I watched some more of your content. I admire your skills and would like some help.
I am currently at HR 311. I got some purple sets and honed weapons (honed cera symmetry for exemple). I have completed most of the content, but I find it difficult to solo Guild quests to level them up to 140. I got some skill with GS, CB and IG, but I'm still trying to get all my weapons usage to 100 at least so that I can master all weapon classes.
I wanna get into solo'ing hard quests and speedrunning like you do. I'm practicing without the use of palicos and would like to stop relying on healing every 30 seconds during fights, since most monsters barely give any opening for healing and such.
PS : I use Athena for mixed sets, although I only have 1 or 2 good talismans worth mentioning.
Can you give me some advices for getting into speedrunning please ? I'll take all the help I can get, forum threads, videos, anything hahah... personal tips would be much appreciated as well ^^
appreciated it bro 🙏 since you're a GS and CB user too, i advice that you use sereg GS and CB (if you dont have good one yet) bec they have nat purple and auto sharpen when dodging. cedeus reg and elends/essor are very good too. For hunting tips, memorizing monsters movements is very important. better know all the opening attacks, so you can have good counter like Guard points and GS lv3 charge. you need to focus on monster one at a time, memorize all the attack patterns and timing to launch an attack. use sbb or felyne bomb to cancel motion when healing and attck boosting etc. make an offensive skills depending on monsters you hunt. since disposable earplugs is around, you have a chance to add more offensive skills instead of HG/earplug. you can watch videos fyr, it'll be a big help. just keep practicing bro you'll be good at this game too.

You don't need guard by the way
I used g+1 to perform the counter well on gores attack 1:57 , gp w/o g+1 has bigger chance of counter being missed. (My opinion 😅) thanks btw 😊
How do you have 1600 attack with CB ? 💀, I have 1224 attack CB, with 3 slot, honned blade, power charm, power talon, power potion +, artillery god, and with challenger+2,i hit 1470 attack with that set 💀, how u have more than 1600 with 1080 attack on your CB
Its heroic kitchen buff effect bro, you can see it here 3:44. It gives additional attack when activated 😊
