@@POWerrrrlGrindits always have been like that since mh4... What you're describing is adept block, not actual gp though, its more like gl or lance adept block than actual cb gp. Even then we already have gp after axe to sword morph, the timing is tricky but it still there. Sunbreak only make it easier to use with certain switch skill, once you morph into axe you can perform gp by pressing morph button from axe to sword, very convenient
