Thanks for reacting to chuck's SB19 docu series. This is also how I got to know and appreciate them even more. SB19 paved the way for P-pop to rise here in the Phils. That's why their 1st presscon is extra harsh that time. The word P-pop is not yet known here and all the rising boy groups & girl groups are just mere K-pop wannabees. But I'm glad that it didn't crash their hopes to continue and pursue their dreams. ❤ More SB19 RVs please. 🫶🤗
Thank you Bexa for starting with the Cashual Chuck series. You know now the reasons behind the lyrics of the songs they made like Crimzone, Mana, Bazinga, Go Up and even Gento. It’s exemplifies technically their winding journey which led to where they are now. Yes, welcome now the rabbit hole of A’tin fandom. This is a really good introduction to SB19. It really takes you chronologically through their journey! Chuck also has a series called "What nobody understands about ______" It's a deep dive into each member. When you've explored more of SB19'S music and live performances and you're ready to start each members solo work I would recommend starting with that series. So much to explore, we'll be there when your ready as long as you continue to dive deeper! It can easily become addictive.😊

Josh is the protector of the members.
In the next episode watch out for a picture of Pablo and his brother Josue (right after the part when Pablo rips his trousers?) the kid who is in a black shirt is Pablo while the one in red and green is his bother Josue. They were attending a birthday party and Josue was the one hitting a clay pot( Pinoy version of piñata)
Getting to know them through their music is one thing but knowing them as a person their music has a stronger impact it becomes personal and makes them human as you and I. The next episodes will draw you in more. No wonder parents even grandparent fans love them and treat them as their own. Imagine those young grandmas gigly and have bias of their own in the concert scene they all look so proud of them❤

I just want to correct some misinformation:
1. Yes. They are founded by a Korean Company but they are not trained like a Korean Group. Here is a statement from Pablo in his Billboard Philippines Interview:
"For us, we only had one mentor. And then we had personality development classes for how we present ourselves onstage, but other than that, nothing else. It’s like we were left in the training room to hone our skills ourselves.
So I can’t say that we underwent the Korean training system. There are comparisons and we got to meet Korean artists whom we asked how they trained, and they had similar experiences.
What happened was, we were left in the training room. Personally, I had singing knowledge and I tried to teach singing to the other members, and then those who were good at dancing taught us how to dance. That’s how I proved that experience is the best teacher. Whenever there was an event, we taught each other right there, or if a song needed to be recorded, I would be the one to record them. We learned everything; we even edited our own content by ourselves before.
Eventually we were able to form a team and we helped each other, but all our skills were really self-taught. So it’s hard to say that we underwent the Korean training system."
He also added that they trained in the Philippines and not in Korea.

2. Here is the correct timeline:
- It was Pablo, Stell and Josh first that was recruited by ShowBT. They've been training without salary almost everyday and they were not seeing any progress. Pablo quit, he went through a rough mental struggle. That time, Josh keeps messaging him to return. Then one time he decided to visit their studio and then Stell asked if he would finally return. And then that's when he realized that he wanted to try again. Ken and Justin were not in recruited yet that time when Josh and Pau left.

3. Tatang Robin left ShowBT when the Pandemic started. It was then operated by a different person who was rumored to mistreat the boys.
4. SB19 is now self-managed. They've been funding their own music since What Era when they were still with ShowBT. Basically, since they do everything after their contract expires, they've decided to establish their own company. It is called 1Z Entertainment and Pablo is the CEO. The other four are Board of Directors.

wow! im surprised that you went to check out their documentary but definitely a great choice. im sure you will be more down the rabbit hole if you dive in to their funny vlogs. I became a fan to their vlogs first. These guys are so humble.
Just a couple of clarifications on this docu series by chuck:
1) sb19 has explained that the Korean-style training they underwent was mostly themselves teaching one another singing and dancing skills. According to them, the guidance provided by their previous company focused a lot more on PR, ie how to hold themselves in public, media training, etc.
2) the members “quitting” on Stell happened during their trainee days, not after their not-so-successful debut. At that time, Justin and Ken had not yet joined as the company.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know SB19 better, though 😊 hope you’re enjoying your journey so far.
In fairness, Chuck only uses publicly accessible information. The revelation about the "strict Korean style training" literally only happened a few months ago, and the dude can't time travel. I suspect when we eventually get an Episode 7 (probably in reaction to Simula at Wakas releasing or in the leadup to it), a lot of the recent bombshells will be included.

Thanks so much for diving into SB19, they are inspirational and really make their actions talk for them. They are extremely humble and down to earth, too!
I recommend watching their interviews with The Juans because they themselves talked about their strifes; it is SB19 according to SB19.

You’re finally watching and reacting to the SB19 Documentary Story! Everyone who learns about their humble beginnings can’t help but feel inspired, as it reveals the real struggles this group faced before rising to the top as the P-Pop Kings.
I don't know how many times i watched this docuseries but it still never fails to get me so emotional. Love these boys.
MTV Vj Kevin's prediction were true but it was a mistake labeling A'Tin as cheaters thinking they use bots because of the unbelievable rapid vote result for Sb19. But billboard proved he's wrong as ATIN remains to be a holder of BEST FANDOM for two consecutive years in the recently concluded BILLBOARD FAN ARMY FACE-OFF.

Just a correction w/ this video, Pablo, Josh, and Stell were the only members that time when they quit, then Josh realized that he needed to go back and kept on sending messages to Pablo to go back, so they went back, then Justin was scouted when Josh told him about the audition and he recruited Ken. One thing that triggered them to quit was when the management removed Josh because he was late to their practice due to a transportation malfunction and because of that, the others also quit.

Hi Bexa...happy to know that you're one of us now. Never been crazy about boy band before but I got hooked with SB19 after I heard their song "GENTO", 2 or3 yrs ago. I never heard an artists like them. It's like they can sing anything and make you love them no matter what. Their humble beginnings made me love them even more because their experiences are so inspiring and legit. I remember years ago in 2019, after I first watched Go Up, I immediately binged watched so many of their videos and performances. Even their vlogs and interviews. Besides being great artists, I also admire their personalities and who they are. They are very funny, relatable, approachable, and inspirational.
I was initially intrigued by their music and skills but stayed and became a fan because of their personalities. That’s why, if people liked SB19’s music, I definitely recommend to get to know them better by watching vlogs and interviews.

*Bunso - youngest (often you'll see BuJah to combine Bunso Justin, Jah for short)
*SSOB - Boss (spelled backwards, often used to call Josh)
*Mahalima - Mahal means love and lima means 5, often used as an endearment term for the boys meaning LOVE for all 5 members
*SLMT - title of one of their songs, short for Salamat meaning thank you in tagalog (Pablo took out the A in SALAMAT to represent A'TIN)
*Kuya - older brother
*Ate - older sister
*Kaps - short for kapatid meaning sibling which A'TIN often call each other

*OA - over acting (what SB19 affectionately calls us sometimes because we over react to things lol)

Just a small note, if I recall correctly, Josh was defending his big sis when they were kids. He's the younger sib. Also, he never knew his father. This makes his singing of the "papa" verse in MAPA even more heart wrenching for me. 😭
