Thanks for such an explicit video I understood everything, and I wanted to find out what kind of air filter sits on my vacuum cleaner, because I couldn't find the answer on the internet correctly ,and I saw your video. Success in continuation.
This has always been one of my favorite Miele designs. I always regarded this as a perfect sole vacuum for someone on a budget, as it doesn't seem to compromise Miele quality or much in the way of cleaning ability - the canisters have larger motors, but their maximum setting is almost never necessary. The Triflex can't take its place in that regard. Thanks for your many videos on this series!! I've enjoyed every one!
Great video, just picked one of these up for 30€. A real bargain. Mine doesn't seem to have the power head outlet though. Not that i need a power head because we have no carpets.
I have one of these and keep it hanging up in our kitchen. We love too just grab it and go. I have made a video of this vac and like Roger I show some of the things it can do. Great vac indeed Roger.
Hi Roger! The vacuums made in china are really only partially so... The injection moulding and the assembly, motors are still supplied from Germany as are the accessories etc.
Thanks for that great video. I have two of these--blue 164 models. 1500 watts, I believe, in that tiny package. One has the large LED brush fitted. Looks like a Chevy Spark on monster truck wheels. But with the large footprint it does not tip over easily. The standard electric brush is a pain as the vacuum cannot stand upright by itself. Too bad Miele never designed a bracket for a (short) hose.
I prefer bagged vacuums as well. Cleaning those bagless vacuum filters and the cyclones and all that stuff leaves a mess, so really what are you doing as far as allergens? You still have to deal with them when you empty that dirt cup and clean the vacuum....far less of an allergen issue with bags that you simply remove and throw in the trash. That Miele Swing Electro seems like a great Stick Vac alternative. Expensive but I think much better built than most if not all regular stick vacs.
Bagged vacuum cleaners have much better performance than bagless, and with modern hepa/fabric type bags, they keep most of that performance, even as the bag fills up and the pores start to become clogged. My Numatic James has much better performance than the Dyson DC40 Animal Erp we have, due to having much higher airflow, I prefer the James to be honest 👍 Once the DC40 comes to the end of it's life, I'll likely replace it with a Sebo X series, my mum prefers an upright, and think she'd love the Sebo 😊
I live in Germany and I wanted one of these at November last year. But as I wanted to buy one the seller explained to me that they are not up to date and would be obsolete... and then I bought a Complete C2 Black Pearl Powerline
Thank you for the video. I just wanted to ask if know where the exhaust filter from the earlier H1 powerline can be found or simply it's part number? In addition, how does the performance from this ecoline model compare to the older powerline model you had reviewed earlier?
I like bagged vacuums more as well bags last ages as well only down side is if suck something up you need like a micro sd card or usb stick it’s a real pain and bags cost a little bit to get
You're right, but they're also more hygienic and anyway you would have to often clean and replace many filters in a bagless vacuum, ending up spending more!
I was bemused when Miele launched this - it looked like something from the 60’s. An example where the marketing and product planning departments were smoking something..
Petrillo123 zbornak This model is just the latest of a very long line of stick vacuums from Miele as they have been producing stick vacuums for decades. This type of cleaner is popular in Europe and countries that favour hard floors over carpets.
My Miele Pure Suction canister was manufactured in China. Machines today are made by machines and the quality therein is determined by the manufacturer’s intended standards. That many machines manufactured there are of lesser quality is due to those manufacture’s designs in both intrinsics and intent for purposes of planned obsolescence. Consider Chinese history and all of the landmark inventions developed there over the millennia. The Chinese invented boats.
It's partially true, in the modern chinese culture, more often than not, "made" doesn't necessarily mean "well made", which is why a strict quality check is needed, but still it's made there. Most manufaturers don't produce their top line products in China for a reason
Tyler Beltran Yes it probably could as the fitting is the same. I’m not sure if the electrical connections are the same though. I will have to try it when I get one of my power head cylinders out.
We should stop making everything in China, I'd rather pay more for a decent good quality appliance than saving and having to replace it after 2 years. That is indeed a dirty word. Ad I totally agree on bagless vacuums, can't even be compared
Do you sell hoovers at all? I've been homeless for 4 years but recently moved into a mobile home on a farm. It desperately needs hoovering, so much dog hair stuck in the carpet! I've been using a dust pan and brush, it's hard work and not very effective at all, it has carpet and hard floors. I don't have much money so I need to get something that isn't going to disappoint as I couldn't buy something else. Many thanks, Simon. Edit: I guess you don't reply to people generally, oh well, I tried. Subscriber lost because of the lack of engagement.
Oh I'm soooo sorry you didn't get preferential treatment on the internet with your sob story, get a grip. If you had not added the edit your arrogance would not have shown. The world does not revolve around you.
I just changed the bag on my Miele upright vacuum ...4 years old and the bag compartment is still 100% dust free. Bags last an incredibly long time. Put up with bagless filth? Why? ! Masochistic or just lazy? Or gullible. 😏
I wish this model was still available, I'd certainly snap one up, I really like it.

Glad to see you giving it a proper farewell it will be missed.
Yes the Miele H 1 will be missed
We have the h1 its god but the nozzle is stupid
Yes it has got god suction but bad nozzle
Well said , I’m exactly the same . Bagged vacuums make more sense. Only use one bagless and that was a nightmare
Well done! I picked this over any bagless vacuum for my home. I use it several times a week.
love what you said about bagged vacums, I agree with you in 100%😊
The Miele factory where the H1, C1 and C2 models are made is in Donggang in China.
Thank you. I’ll not be buying this then. Damned CCP.
I found an H1 in a thrift store. It is in perfect condition, however no power nozzle. I got attachments and extra hepa filter. I paid $15.00.
A shout out to the old bags love them.
15:06 sounds like a Numatic 620W
Great video, just picked one of these up for 30€. A real bargain. Mine doesn't seem to have the power head outlet though. Not that i need a power head because we have no carpets.
I would love this!

I wish they would bring it back or new design would be good.

Excellent video. It is a pity that Amazon DE does not ship to Portugal.
I love mine, but mine is 1000 watts on high power. It’s a beast

ibaisaic awesome vacuum

They are still a current model on Miele’s German website and bags and filters will be available for many years.
#ibaisaic which vacuum has more suction swing or triflex cat and dog?
Swimg
Tank you man :)

Does Amazon Germany have HEPA filter and kk vacuum bag for this model?
Please do loads of cycles on the AEG 8000 Series Lavamat
I do, the machine gets used several times a week.
Could a Miele electric wand be fitted on the suction end?
Tyler Beltran Yes it probably could as the fitting is the same. I’m not sure if the electrical connections are the same though. I will have to try it when I get one of my power head cylinders out.
@@ibaisaic Thanks Roger!
Or which would u recommend
I’d be interested to know whether the mini turbobrush from the cordless miele works with this machine?
Yes
The Dyson V11 has as much suction on low as the Miele Triflex has on max. Sad.
I love miele and Im between Dyson v11 and Miele cordless
by the way your channel seems useful i'll take a look 🤩
VacMaster1991 Perhaps, but the Miele will outlive half a dozen dysons.
1:56 thats a not a cravistool
No, it’s a crevice tool. Thanks for pointing out my stupid mistake and making me cry. 😭
We should stop making everything in China, I'd rather pay more for a decent good quality appliance than saving and having to replace it after 2 years. That is indeed a dirty word. Ad I totally agree on bagless vacuums, can't even be compared
If products of any kind were made locally no matter the country you live in, they are going to cost more than double.
What do you think of Dyson's bagless compared to bag vacuums?
Crevice tool? Thats an upehulestry tool
I always put a deliberate mistake in every video. I have no idea what an upehulestry tool is though.
ibaisaic oh never realised sorry and meant upholstery tool i just couldn’t spell it
That’s OK, I was only joking.

I have 3 stick vacuums
And are crate
My gosh, I can't stand bagless vacuums. I wish there was a stick bagged vacuum instead of all these cyclonic one.
