Is there anyone else who wasn't particularly interested in hoovers but found this channel when researching a potential purchase.... And now fascinated by the videos?! 😂
My husband and I had doubt about getting a dyson or this one, and your videos really help make our decision. We chose the miele triflex. Thank you for helpful videos and demos.
Great choice, I have 2 dysons, and on both I have replaced the on and off switch because it stopped working, really a downside on such a expensive product, so i will buy this miele soon.
One of the first demonstrations/reviews I've seen with actual pet hair involved. Thank you so much for sharing (I ordered the HX2 Cat & Dog, I hope it lives up to this)
Wow. I’m genuinely amaized at how quiet it is even on the highest setting. I normally wouldn’t touch cordless vacs with a barge pole but I’m tempted now
It has indeed a nicer sound than e.g. the Dyson V11, which sounds like a dentists drill in direct comparsion. It doesn't scare our pets away, so that tells alot.
I just bought the base model. I'd say that the weak points of this vacuum are the filter, as Roger points out, and the battery life. However, it appears to me that these weaknesses only surface if you use this machine for heavy duty or lengthy work. I have two levels in my apartment, about 1700 square feet on each level. I just have a few rugs to deal with on the upper level, & can easily get through the work in less than 30 minutes. I don't plan to use this on my wood floors normally, since a Swifter does just fine for that. I own a corded bagged upright of a different brand for my fully carpeted second level, and it does what I need there. I was quite impressed with the cleaning & suction power of this machine. Hint: wear vinyl gloves when cleaning the filter. I have to say it would have been very helpful if I'd run across this review before first using the vacuum, since the manual doesn't explain things anywhere near as well as Roger does.
I have just bought this Triflex HX1 wow it is awesome. I should have watched the video first though as I actually filled up the canister to the top oops and I used it on the high setting not necessary. I thoroughly vacuumed my place before I bought this and I seriously could not believe how much it picked up. Love it, its's quiet, light and looks good.
Great review, I have one of these. The only thing I don't like about it is how small the container is, and it is hard to empty it sometimes as you pointed out. Edit 10/09/2023. Don't buy this people, mine broke twice in less than 3 years. The second time was outside warranty period, so I'm now left with a useless expensive plastic stick!
I just picked up the HX1 Pro and added a pet hair tool. Wonderful and powerful! Built for every day use, speed sensing brush roll, uses all of my other non powered Miele attachments is a bonus. Great review Roger!
another premier review Roger. It looks better quality to any dyson rival model and I like that it can stand up and the battery is detachable. I understand the versatlity of cordless vacuums for modern homes but the small bin and constant filter cleaning can not be overlooked. I am still looking to purchase an upright corded bagged vacuum that will contain the dust - the Sebo X7 pet is favourite so far.
Love your reviews as there genuine. Too many paid reviews or free product reviews knocking around.. reviewers act like there on a Japanese tv show “ everything is super great”
Super impressed!!!! Although that filter is gonna need looking after more than once a month if you use it daily like I would. Hopefully they do something in future models to improve the filter situation and I know they could also make an optional bagged container using the K bags for the H1 QuickStep. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it had a bagged option.
I’m not sure why people are complaining of the suction. It’s designed for little messes and quick touch-ups, not for replacing the role of a full-Power, plug-in vacuum or deep cleaning carpet. It does a phenomenal job at what it’s intended for and I’m sold for that reason. It’s the only stick vac that the dust bin can be placed near the power nozzle instead of at the wrist, which will increase air flow at the power nozzle for carpet and make it easier to use on floors in general.
I think for their first cordless stick vacuum they did a good job. Maybe it would be better to use a bagged system, because most Miele customers will hate to get in touch with dust. Perfect Review as always 😊
I found myself trying to decide between the Dyson V11 Torque Drive and the Miele Triflex HX1 Pro. I opted for the Miele because a lot of reviewers and current owners seemed to complain about Dyson’s reliability. Who cares if the Dyson works great if it’s not going to last? If I’m going to invest several hundred dollars in a vacuum, I want to know that it will still work really well in 5 years (or longer), so long as it is reasonably maintained. The Miele just has a better track record for reliability. You also don’t have to keep holding the on/off switch on the Miele like you have to on the Dyson. That just seem ridiculous that Dyson designs theirs like that. 🤷🏻 Thank you for your review!
Dyson are the largest vacuum manufacturer in the world and their products come with 2 and 5 year guarantees. Their customer service is renowned for its quality, and Dyson engineer their cordless models to last 15 years. You don’t become a top seller by making poor quality products. In fact, go on Dyson website now and see how many user replaceable spare parts you can obtain.
Leave it to Miele to produce the first cordless stickvac I’d be interested in. It’s as though they channeled their own S1, made it even more flexible and turned it into a modern cordless and bagless machine.
I've put off purchasing a wireless for years now & Miele didn't disappoint me with these options & it's about time it's made a debut. I'm picking mine up tomorrow & cannot wait as we just brought them as stock recently. The disassembly of the filter will still be easier than my Dyson.
I really prefer the old disposable bag uprights that we used for 70 years. You didn't expose yourself to all of filth in the canisters, and you didn't have to worry about cleaning pre filters and sub pre filters. The bags held about 3 or 4 pounds of dirt. No computer chips or nothing to figure out. When the vacuum stopped picking up, it was time to change the bag out. About every 5 years you changed the belt.Took all of about 5 minutes. I still have a 35 year old Kenmore canister vacuum and a 40 year old Hoover Decade 80 upright. The hoovers are totally rebuildable. On the Kenmore, I've never had to replace it yet, but I've heard the hose is getting hard to find. But, it's 35 years old. It's paid for itself many times over.
John Nickolsen There are scores of "traditional" upright vacuums still available, many are bagged, many have the same simple technology of vacuums from our parents era. If you spend enough you can still buy a quality machine which should be repairable if the need arises. Remember, fifty years ago a vacuum cleaner was an expensive, considered purchase- I have a dealer leaflet from the early seventies found in a box in my late parents attic. They paid £22 for their Electrolux. Might not sound like much, but at that time my dad was just starting his career in accountancy and earning £6 a week! The advantage of modern vacuums is that by and large performance is much better, and filtration is many times more efficient. The old hoovers with paper bags probably re-emitted at least half of the microscopic particles they ever picked up- perhaps that's why the bags lasted so long?!
@@spencerwilton5831 I'm 65 so those old vacuums "are" my era😄 Filtration wise. I use HEPA filters in both My Kenmore canister my Hoover upright. Of course, they cost more, but they really do cut down on escaping dust. Much, much better than the old bags. You are absolutely right about the price. Vacuums have never been cheap. Those Kenmore canisters were about $450 US 40 years ago. A loaded Kirby vacuum could easily top a grand even at that time. As far as suction, I have looked at high end vacuums for my daughter. They're Marginally better than that old Hoover and no better than the Kenmore canister. The Kenmore has a very effective beater bar along with 3 vacuum power settings with really high suction. Hoover has a momentary contact switch that boosts the power for difficult areas. There was an upright I was looking at for my daughter that was really top quality. The name eludes me right now, but it was about $1500 US. Maybe for Christmas.
I’ve been looking for a stick with good attachments. I was looking at others yet someone this video started. I think I like this one! Even better. Just saw it stands. I’m actually excited to find one that looks strong and sturdy that will do a decent job for my cleaning business.
Thanks for the informative video! Maybe one question if you don’t mind. Which head would you say is better for hard floors? This one or the Dyson fluffy?
I picked the Pro model up used for $245 USD and use it as my daily driver. I have a r30 Riccar for weekly vacuuming. This Miele is very nice and although it seems like it has no power, it pulls out a lot of dirt and cat hair,
I guess for the speed and convenience of a daily sweep, this is great! You just need to add it to your list of things to clean once a week with your regular canister vacuum. Think of it as a convenience device that needs a once a week or once a month thorough vacuuming with a bigger cleaner. Which seems pretty reasonable. Miele should consider making a bagged version though....that might be a real improvement!
Richard Mitchell Sorry Richard, I meant to write cylinder cleaner. In Canada, a cylinder vac is only used for vacuums that actually look like a cylinder - like the original Electrolux. All others are called canister vacs.
Thanks I wasn't sure. The Miele looks good but I still don't think anything compares to a corded machine. I just use a cordless for sweeping up a few crumbs etc but I couldn't justify spending £600+ for that.
@@elizabethblackwell6242 I ordered this model yesterday. Have gone through four Dyson Stick vacuums (various Animal versions). While nothing else in this category compares, they've all had mechanical issues within the first year. Hoping the Miele is just as powerful (I have two dogs), but has lasting power. I disagree with the primitive technology comment. I dare @TheGrudge to find something as powerful, with the same ease of use. There just isn't anything out there, I've looked.
@@ellierk2880 Thanks so much for your answer. I bought one last week and so far it's fantastic. One reason I don't like Dyson is that it spews minute dust particles into your face because of the design. It's great suction, but even the HEPA models don't capture all the particles and project them back into the environment. Anyway so far so good with the Miele. No asthma and the carpet looks better than ever.
@@elizabethblackwell6242 We just got ours yesterday, and I used it for the first time today. The canister wouldn't empty the fur (from our dogs) on it's own. We had to use a "chopstick' to get it all out. Very disappointed, will be returning.
@@ellierk2880 I don't think the canisters will ever work the way they're shown on the TV! I also have poke up there to empty and as I get asthma I get my husband to do it. I think it's the nature of the canister beast. It's why I love Miele's bagged barrel so much: Slide out the bag, slide in a new one, drop it in the bin. Sorry you're disappointed. Nothing worse than anticipating a product and being let down. I'm really loving mine. It sucks the life out of the carpet and never makes me wheeze!
Nice to see a mostly positive demo of this machine! I've primarily seen either paid for positive reviews or completely negative reviews of it until now. It's a shame that it is bagless, otherwise I would consider buying one. In addition to the filter problem, the container itself looks very small. I wish Miele would stick to their bagged roots like Sebo has done so far, but I understand many consumers have been led to believe bags are evil.
I love my bagged Miele HEPA coventional vac. Flip the top, slide out the bag, slide in the new, drop the bag in the garbage. Takes 30 seconds. There's never any dust surrounding the bag. Love it.
Aren’t Miele bags compostable and made with sustainable materials? Although they do use plastic to attach to the nozzle. Considering how long lasting their products last, and are not as disposable as some other brands where the whole vacuum ends up in a landfill, for me its ok.
This wasn’t tempting me to buy it at the high price until your video roger. My wallet always gets a little lighter after one of your videos comes out haha.
I just got one if these and I'm afraid to say I'm returning it. It performs just as you'd expect with a miele and it's nice and quiet but unfortunately that bin/filter design really lets it down, it's horrendous. I'm going to go for a V15 Absolute and see if that's any better!
Thanks heaps. From AUZZZ Have a Miele s400 and it is so strong. Want to try a battery and loved you presentation. Would love to buy anything other than Dyson as Dyson had cornered the market as $1200-1300 in Auz. To expensive when on pensions. You need to go to the media home shows etc as your voice is excellent and clear. Thanks
The filter is washable also all parts from the dust container. I wash mine without any washing powder or liquid just warm water then dry it for a day and is ready to go. Just make sure all parts are well dry include the 2 filters.
Thank you for such a thorough and indepth review of the Miele TriFlex HX1 Cat & Dog. I have now ordered one and look forward to using it. Also, it was pleasing to see my Hoover Aquamaster in your profile picture. I have had mine for more than 30 years, and still works and i just buy new filters and it works a treat, very powerful and will lift any carpet if not secured to the floor. Its just that it is bulky so, decided to get a lighter weight vaccum cleaner. Once again, a great video even though you did not show your face but this led to me concentration on the product review. Thank you.
I have used a Rowena stick vacuum and I found that difficult to open the canisters because it had two buttons to press at the same time and as my hands are small it was too difficult. I now have the Meile and I find it so easy to remove the canister
You don't need the cradle necessarly, you can simply put the plug in the spare battery without the unit attached. But yea, I also bought it, it's just more convenient.
I really like your videos. I believe I will get the Meile TriFlex HX! Pro. My wife wants a cordless I was leaning toward a canister the Miele C3. I will go to the dealer this week and take one home. I was going to get another brand but I learned a lot from you. Thank you!
Thanks so much for a superb video! You’re excellent! I’ve just purchased mine from Amazon US and am getting ready to put it together so I was happy to find your video. Looking forward to seeing other videos as now a new subscriber. Be well. And thanks again! Cheers! 👋🐕🐈
Hi, I have a Miele dynamic u1 which I think is the same as Miele s7000. I bought a rotating mini turbo brush compatible with this a while back for stairs and things. Will this mini turbo brush be compatible with the triflex? If so I think it makes sense to get the pro version with the extra battery rather than the cat and dog version as I understand it’s a choice between mini turbo brush or battery for the same price?
I own the Triflex HX1 Cat and Dog vacuum cleaner and needed to watch the video to see how to detach, attach, and rearrange the parts. Mine doesn't pick up nearly as well on Setting 1 and the canister fills up quickly and does not get anywhere as full as shown here. Perhaps it is incorrectly attached as mentioned. My Triflex just shuts off when the canister is full or the battery is dead. I've never gotten more than a half hour out of it. I mistakenly washed the filter in water (absolutely don't do this!) and needed to buy a new one. The filter gets very dirty very quickly. I have already purchased three new ones in the past year. It's great having a cordless vacuum but I don't think they've come far enough to tackle large spaces with a lot of dust and dog hair. At least not in my house.
Thx for the video. Bought it based on ur review. All parts clicked. There seems to be a space gap just at the space below the canister, which I see on yours also. Doesn’t seem right. Do u see it? Comments don’t allow a photo
I just bought this and while it’s a nice little machine, if you have a multi pet household you will be emptying the dust container every minute or so, and if you don’t, the pet hair, carpet fiber and dust will clog the hose and nozzle and pipe, and it is a long haul and a great bit of effort to get it out. It’s a ridiculously small dust container which is hard to pull the pet hair out of. I have to use a toothbrush. I am still searching for the perfect, powerful, bagless, battery operated vacuum for my multi pet home, if anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate them very much. Thank you so much for this demonstration.
I think the cat and dog model of this one is my new vacuum! The one thing that I am confused on is what would be the best tool, even if I have to buy it to use on hardwood stairs? And you, I've just gotten to the end of the video and not being able to wash those filters really might be problematic and a deal-breaker. I guess I'm going to call the company and ask about that. Have you gotten any further knowledge I'm the best way to get these clean without having to use another vacuum?
Any modern Miele tool will fit. They do a parquet nozzle for wood floors that will fit the Triflex. Although the instructions don’t say you can wash the filter, the replacement filter available on their website says it’s washable.
@ibaisaic - So based on your personal experience, which is your top 2 recommended stick vacs? I've got a log of dog air cleaning off tile floors and this video perfectly captured the issue of hair getting stuck in the bin which I want to avoid. Do any other stick vac bins do a better job expelling long hair? Very much looking forward to hearing from you on your experience on this hairy topic.
Your reviews are so comprehensive. I couldn’t find much information on Miele’s own website, but you have excelled. Thank you. I am reluctant to buy another stick after having a Dyson V8 which hasn’t lasted the distance, but I like the convenience. My original vacuum was a Miele barrell which is still powerful after 20+ years but is only used in the shed and car now. Would you expect this Miele to have much life expectancy?
There is no way you would get 20 years out of a new Miele, especially a cordless model as the batteries have a finite life. This is a good cleaner but I don’t like the messy emptying. A new version the HX2 has just been launched with more power and an easier filter cleaning system, so you may want to look at that. As you refer to your old Miele as a barrel, I assume you live in Australia or New Zealand, so check out your local Miele website to see what models are available there.
Thank you for sharing this with us. It's a rather nice looking machine and it appears to have really good power for a cordless. You can see the carpet being lifted on the back stroke indicating one of 3 potential things, that this is very powerful, that the head is very well sealed allowing the majority of it's power to be retained or that this carpet is just easy to seal to. What do you think? Do you notice a lot of other machines being able to lift the carpet up like that? Eventually i'd like to perform my tests on it and see where it stands so we can better understand it, though I'd imagine it may be a while before a Miele dealer i'm friendly enough with gets one. I will agree with yourself and others that the dustbin needs work. A single cyclonic design with a pleated filter just isn't fitting for a machine of the brand and price range. I understand that keeping the airpath simple allows for greater flow but this design will also see a faster loss in flow as the filter has minimal protection. Oh and i'm rather curious about the seals on the filters, if possible keep us posted on this machine and if you would check the tube leading into the motor to see what if anything is getting around the filters that would be great. Again thank you for sharing.
Great review. Is your living room carpet wool? We're concerned about using this on our wool carpet as apparently there is no height adjustment, just a section level one?
I can’t think of any cordless vacuum that has a height adjustment. It will be fine on a wool carpet as long as it’s not a loop pile. My living room carpet is a man made fibre.
@@ibaisaic Thank you for the prompt reply and confirming our concerns were on the mark. Our new rug will be a loop pile and we will have two other man made fibre area rugs and otherwise hardwood and tile. After rethinking it overnight we exchanged the Triflex towards the Complete C Powerplus Powerline model here in Canada and added a Hepa filter. Very expensive and of course a larger footprint but we are happy with the decision. With dust allergies, being able to have the dust and debris bagged rather than emptied into open air also played a part in the decision. Your video cautioning that aspect and showing how dust quickly accumulates on the Triflex filter was helpful as well.
If you have compressed air available, it is especially efficient at cleaning dust out of the fine filters. Vacuum any loose dust remaining, afer using the higjh-pressure air.
Is it possible to fit another Wand onto the the one it comes with to increase the lenngth so that if you have realy high ceilings - you can reach them. My on my current Miele 758 I can "stack" as many power wands together and still get power to the electro brush - or use non powered wands for the simple tools.
I have a question for you: does the light on the electrobrush of your vacuum tend to flicker while in use? Mine does it occasionally, esp. on ceramic tiles (when moving between tiles) and I'm wondering if that's normal or not.
I have no idea why everyone think cat&dog fur is though challenge for a vacoom. They should start marketing it with long human hair ready or something. That'd be some serious test.
Thorough demonstration and the power of this cleaner is obvious. Would be interested to know the run time and whether the extra battery is necessary. In addition I just wondered if the small turbo brush on the corded cat and dog vac would work on this .
So does this pickup better than a Miele Cylinder from the past and current? - I am tempted to place an order for one and want to get rid of my cylinders
I ordered the cat and dog but only because of the money back guarantee and it’s been returned after two or three days use. Great cleaner in the carpet leaves it nicely groomed but a realistic replacement for my Miele or Sebo upright...NO. I live in a 2 bed flat and one battery isn’t enough. With my upright if I want to do the skirting it something I just pull out the hose, with this you have to mess about. Better than Dyson particularly because you can turn it on without holding a trigger. However I have diabetic neuropathy in my hands and struggled with emptying. Additionally there is no way those filters will be lifelong. I’d rather have 2/3 Miele cylinders or a 2 Sebo X7’s for the same money. An excellent first incarnation but Miele have we work to doom perfecting this. Would buy this over a Dyson though.
Bagged vacuums are the way to go. The bag is a HUGE filter that is replaced, without a mess, and far better performance. The bags aren't that pricey compared to putting up with this crap. They had it right 100 years ago!
Oh my God I hate the bags ones they’re so annoying you have to keep buying the bags and it gets dusty when you take it out it’s just a pain in the butt. Good luck though.
I have owned a aMiele canister vac for 20 years. I like t he fact that this is a lightweight unit and a powerful cleaner. What I don't like is all the fuss required to clean the filter assembly. I would like to know what the decibel level was as it seemed to be quite loud.
I like the sound of the motor, not high pitched and screechy like cheaper vacs...I don’t like that cheap looking slider power switch, and the dust container is too small with fiddly filters. The colour of the unit is very drab by Miele standards...I was looking into buying this vac but I think I’ll hold off for an updated version which might address the shortcomings
I finally had 2 bite the bullet and spend a little extra on a vacum just ordered it 2day I've never had a cordless vacum, have always struggled with moving the cord cuz its always in the way and the hose twisting up and the vacum tipping over..I have a bit of a temper and smashed my last canister vacum getting so frustrated with the cord and hose..this machine looks like it will cut my time in half and make vacuuming a lot less frustrating

Great review thanks for the in depth review. Had a look at one in the store and was impressed. Keen to buy.
Wow, that first pass on the hard floor was awesome!
They both clean well, but the fluffy seems easier to use on a hard floor but not as good as Shark’s Duo Clean head.
Another excellent review. I have considered the Halo Capsule but I think I'll go for this one.
i have the triplex and selled the Dyson v11 absolute pro. The Miele is for me so much better. FOR ME! it feels a lot more professional
What's a canister vacuum
Richard Mitchell Sorry Richard, I meant to write cylinder cleaner. In Canada, a cylinder vac is only used for vacuums that actually look like a cylinder - like the original Electrolux. All others are called canister vacs.
Thanks I wasn't sure. The Miele looks good but I still don't think anything compares to a corded machine. I just use a cordless for sweeping up a few crumbs etc but I couldn't justify spending £600+ for that.
Primitive technology in a fancy package with a premium price.
I'm interested to know why this is primitive technology. I don't know much about cordless. Many thanks.
An influence by Dyson
I love my bagged Miele HEPA coventional vac. Flip the top, slide out the bag, slide in the new, drop the bag in the garbage. Takes 30 seconds.
There's never any dust surrounding the bag. Love it.
So, have they stopped selling bagged vacuums? That is a shame.
The bags are so expensive, and add more unnecessary stuff to landfill sites.
Aren’t Miele bags compostable and made with sustainable materials? Although they do use plastic to attach to the nozzle. Considering how long lasting their products last, and are not as disposable as some other brands where the whole vacuum ends up in a landfill, for me its ok.
Fantastic video! This should be the video instruction manual that comes with the vacuum!
Exactly! It sure should.
It sounds much more pleasant than some other cordless machines. Also the brushroll sounds like it has a good speed to it
quality cleaner, expensive , but well engineered, the germans make the best cars/optic lenses/tools and now this , will last a lifetime.
@15jerry: here, here! So true! 👋
This wasn’t tempting me to buy it at the high price until your video roger. My wallet always gets a little lighter after one of your videos comes out haha.
"cheaper" is often not less expensive in the long run.
@@inyobill Talk about spare parts in 5+ years for example.
Thanks for this review. Would have been good to see how it handles all that debris in corners and also how it charges when mounted on the wall.
Very impressive vacuum cleaner. Well done Miele
I just got one if these and I'm afraid to say I'm returning it. It performs just as you'd expect with a miele and it's nice and quiet but unfortunately that bin/filter design really lets it down, it's horrendous. I'm going to go for a V15 Absolute and see if that's any better!
please let us know how it goes. I am disappointed in my miele triflex. fills up too quickly and too hard to empty.
Excellent video. I'm sold. Can't wait to get my Miele vacuum cleaner! Thanks for the video!
Excellent and transparent review. Thank you!
Thank you. Was wondering as I just started using mine.
@@viviciousvee Just wash it with warm water no detergent and dry well before use
Congrats on 80K your on the road to 100K Roger
Thank you for such a thorough and indepth review of the Miele TriFlex HX1 Cat & Dog. I have now ordered one and look forward to using it. Also, it was pleasing to see my Hoover Aquamaster in your profile picture. I have had mine for more than 30 years, and still works and i just buy new filters and it works a treat, very powerful and will lift any carpet if not secured to the floor. Its just that it is bulky so, decided to get a lighter weight vaccum cleaner. Once again, a great video even though you did not show your face but this led to me concentration on the product review. Thank you.
Hi I love this vacuum how it takes all the dirt from all edges is there the same one but corded, thank you
I have used a Rowena stick vacuum and I found that difficult to open the canisters because it had two buttons to press at the same time and as my hands are small it was too difficult. I now have the Meile and I find it so easy to remove the canister
Just got a cat and dog £278 new in box, well happy with its performance may get a spare battery and cradle in time.
You don't need the cradle necessarly, you can simply put the plug in the spare battery without the unit attached. But yea, I also bought it, it's just more convenient.
I’m about to buy one, thank you for your thorough review 👏👏👏👍
Was tossing it up, but buying the Cat & Dog this weekend. Well worth the $999 AUD here! #MieleForLife
Cheers! 👋🐕🐈
How is the Miele doing? Do you like it?
This is like buying a screw driver to drive a nail into wood, smh.
Thx for the video. Bought it based on ur review. All parts clicked. There seems to be a space gap just at the space below the canister, which I see on yours also. Doesn’t seem right. Do u see it? Comments don’t allow a photo
It’s easy to put the dirt bin back without properly clicking into place. Make sure it’s pushed down fully.
No suction test? Would be nice to compare with others, it seemed a reasonable suction level for a cordless.
LOVING THE VIDEOS I hope you Have a very good year :)
We thinking Off buying Or the miele Or the dyson v11 . What Do u recommand You guys?
Dyson
I wish I could get this vac it looks so cool!!
Wi llo yes it is
beauty pageants don't clean rooms!
thorough review I'm going to buy the vacuum now
@ibaisaic Hi Roger, do you think there are any cordless vacuums out now that can bypass having the need for a permanent corded vacuum? Thank you!
@@ibaisaic I look forward to your review of the new launch!
Would the twister floor head work in this? I’ve heard it doesn’t work well on the H1 Quickstep
Thanks so much - great job of reviewing!
I was wondering how the Miele would do at picking up cat litter on a ceramic tile floor? Would it just spit it out and not pick it up?
Love you're videos they are amazing
If you have compressed air available, it is especially efficient at cleaning dust out of the fine filters. Vacuum any loose dust remaining, afer using the higjh-pressure air.
Is it possible to fit another Wand onto the the one it comes with to increase the lenngth so that if you have realy high ceilings - you can reach them. My on my current Miele 758 I can "stack" as many power wands together and still get power to the electro brush - or use non powered wands for the simple tools.
No it’s not possible.
Is it just me and my small hands, but I find it really hard to remove the battery?
This vs the Dyson V10 and V11 range. How does it compare to the dysons?
They both have their advantages and disadvantages. It's best to own both! ;-)
When do you use the cat/ dog hair brush or the upholstery brush on furniture?
Thorough demonstration and the power of this cleaner is obvious. Would be interested to know the run time and whether the extra battery is necessary. In addition I just wondered if the small turbo brush on the corded cat and dog vac would work on this .
Extra butter is a big plus
So does this pickup better than a Miele Cylinder from the past and current? - I am tempted to place an order for one and want to get rid of my cylinders
Anything updated with the HX2 that would benefit from an update to this review?
I can’t afford an HX2 to show on my channel, but it is supposed to be more powerful.
You may be right.
I have owned a aMiele canister vac for 20 years. I like t he fact that this is a lightweight unit and a powerful cleaner. What I don't like is all the fuss required to clean the filter assembly. I would like to know what the decibel level was as it seemed to be quite loud.
thanks! your video is super helpful!
Can you please in unbox the robot vacuum you got for Christmas and do some videos with your neato d5,Miele scout rx1 and the Roomba 865
What’s the suction power of this one! Thinking to get V15 or this one.
@ibaisaic which one has more suction? Swing or triflex cat and dog?
The mains powered Swing
@@ibaisaic great!
Where could I buy the swing or dynamic u1?
Will the powered brush for upholstery fit on a cylinder cleaner or only on the triflex?
Great review on product every reviewed or used a tineco pure one plus cordless vacuum.
I reviewed a Tineco A10 Hero. It’s unlikely I will be buying another Tineco product.
Hello Roger,
Would you choose this or a Shark cordless for a 3-bed house with mainly hard floors?
In my experience, the Shark is better on hard floors.
An excellent review! Pros and Cons well described. Well done!
I notice it’s UK Amazon. Could I still purchase if I live in Hawaii?
Probably not from Amazon UK. You would need to purchase from Amazon.com.
I like the suction but that filter seems like it get dirty too easily especially since it doesn’t have a cyclone to remove big particles
Which is more powerful ? Triflex or cx1 ?? I have two golden retrievers lots of hair
I wouldn’t recommend either for a home with two golden retrievers and lots of hair.
