  • You may ask yourself: "Why a 42 minute video?" And you may ask yourself: "Why so few videos for so long?" And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, WITHOUT a beautiful wife.
Some of you already know or guessed that my wife had been very ill the last two years. I retired early to care for her. Dementia is a death by a thousand cuts. My beautiful Maggie! We almost made it to our 44th anniversary.
For the last year of her life she was confined to bed. I tried "Skilled Nursing Facilities" and quickly learned they were unskilled. They would not feed her properly, would leave her soiled. So I brought her home and did it myself. It was worth all the work. Of course I had little time for video editing, so the raw files built up unedited. So what was supposed to be a quick "1st impressions" video is now a snapshot into a year of flights on my S6. Yes it is long and boring. But I needed to put this project behind me so that I could start on the rest of the video editing backlog.
If you are curious, you can watch the video tribute I created for Maggie on my other channel:

Regarding the ML SwiftSix (85 - 105 kg), I'm little bit above the midpoint. I've exchanged several emails with Russ Ogden about this over the years, for different wings of this class and higher, and Russ says there is no need to load these wings up to be near the top of the weight range. They do most of the testing at the midpoint. Mid to 2/3 is the sweet spot.
