I'm a hairdresser and this is almost identical to the technique I use to curl all my clients! Right on girl! A key point to remember too is your first initial clamp, don't close it completely. Hold it open ever so slightly and you'll avoid that "crimp" especially if your hair is naturally or blown out straight prior to curling.

It was neat to see a tutorial using the traditional curling iron with the clamp. I prefer the barrel style curling wand, but I do see the benefit of having the clamp for giving the root volume... makes me rethink my current routine!

I love this video! Your hair is gorgeous and let me say, lately there's so much chaos with other you tubers, I think you are one of one of a kind, so classy and down to earth!
You look gorgeous and I love the finished look, but as someone with damaged hair I couldn't ever hold the iron in that long for each curl. I have to do quick curls just kind of flicking the wand around an dropping it down. It's amazing how healthy your hair looks after all your color changes. I'm jealous!
