For villager you do the recovery to make it up the first part, then use side special to make it past the second, then if you walk very carefully to the edge of the lava villager can make it with side b

Punching is all about the legs. His stances, idle animations, attack animations, and more all show his use of his legs. However, in mid-air, the strength he uses from the punch can't exactly come from his legs anymore.
yes, boxers use footwork to channel kinetic energy through the entire body so that could explain why his wall jump is so good (i think)

Villager can make it, I tested it several times. You just have to stand as close to the lava as possible looking to the left, then roll to the right and keep going to the right.
And he doesn’t get hit by the lava at all?

I really want to see the One and Only Dr. Mario since a One and Only Ganondorf seems easy with the Incineroar/Ganondorf trick you use in the all but one challenges.
I did one and only Dr. Mario, it is very similar to only Mario can win but to make Mario lose you have to create a tunnel for Dr. Mario's pills, their trajectory is different from fireballs
Ganondorf one and only: grab trick, then a wind section or a lava path that only his ariel down b can go through
No, the lava tunnel can't stop Mario from winning, is possible do this part
@ares tristan, It's a lava tunnel but Dr Mario and Mario can't do that of prowder, I was talking about the smaller one I did in the One and only Dr Mario challenge
They are similar, Mario is better than Dr Mario in speed and jump and Dr Mario beats him only with the tunnel where to throw the pills tight
Turns out this was just Mac's training course when he received the letter. Started training on this stage so that explains his incredible wall jump
I think a really hard one would be puff, she has basically no vertical recovery, no wall jump, and is one of the slowest characters in the game.
No offense, but jiggly's neutral B is pretty fast. Also Jiggly's shield break sends her to upwards, so technically jiggly has the best recovery ._.
My first idea would be an extreme vertical obstacle that you need Puff's shield break to reach

Puff would be very easy because of the shield break invincibility

Honestly, it might be deceptive which "one and only" characters will be the hardest. I could see DK being especially difficult. Same with some of the fire emblem cast since their movesets overlap so much.
The Belmonts and the Street Fighters always do pretty poorly in challenges, so I’d love to see a one and only for them
Two and only
Belmont neutral b passes through the stage, so it wouldn't be hard to put a lever on the other side of an especially thick wall.

Me: So can I. The Belmonts have won the least amount of challenges as far as I know. Their movement and attacks aren't built for a lot of mobility and obstacles.
That's what I was thinking, they only win the challenges that involve projectiles or long range attacks, they suck in everything else
They do have a funky downtilt that probs can get rid of lots
Plus weird projectiles which might just do it

I feel like the important part isn't how good a character's options are, but rather how unique they are. You could have some of the worst movement in the game, but if you have some unique mechanic that can be used to take out a bunch of other characters, you could be hypothetically better off than someone with plenty of options, but several characters with very similar atributes.
Luigi can't wall jump, and Samus can't move while crouching. Smash makes no sense.🤷♂

Yeah,still dunno why they made Mario unable to move while crouching and Luigi unable to wall-jump to differenciate them even tho they can do both in canon

I came to the same conclusion when I tried to make the stage myself, except for the bumpers at the end. Villager kinda ruined my stage so I’m glad that there is something to stop him

I've always wondered why Little Mac could run so fast. Is it because of the training with the bike? One day I'll get a switch and try some debunking.
Punching is like, 25%arms and 75% torque and leg movement. Of course hes fast as fucc.
As everyone else has said already, boxing is all about the legs rather than the arms like one would expect. But if you want a more straightforward answer, he had to be broken on the ground and being fast is a need
The thing with all of these bottom tier characters is that they all have unique feature that allow them to create obstacles. If you did an extremely middle of the road character like corrin, then it might be harder to do
You could have something requiring you to stay in place for a long time. In my mind, you could enter a lava box, and use pin to hit a lever which closes the box. The lava beneath you slowly moves, so basically only corrin and pac-man could stay there for long enough, unless pac-man can't put hydrant on lava (which I am not sure about).
@The Salty Ralts that would probably work. Maybe corrin isn’t the right answer. Maybe prowdwr should do a one and only of like lucario

It's crazy how Little Mac, one of the worst characters in the game either competitively or in challenges, only needed two obstacles to make something only he could do. And a third one was still added just for the flex.

Yes I know you meant for the obstacle challenges but he's still better at it than Incineroar
His aerials suck major, and he has the shortest jumps/recovery. So he’s one of the worst. But he still moves faster in the air compared to Ganondorf and has better wall jumps than Dr Mario

I don't think there is a worst smash. I was actually really good with little Mac. He may have a bad recover, but he does have strong attacks, and he is fairly fast
Possible templates for the other two candidates for worst characters in Smash Ultimate.
Dr. Mario: Borrow a few elements from Mario's One & Only, the tightest lava tunnel, anything that involves using his pills to hit specific levers
Ganondorf: Maximum upward wind, using his forward smash to hit a lever, possibly using the Captain Falcon stage trick from Mewtwo's All But One but adjusted to Ganondorf's liking

Little Mac Finally gets some respect
Little mac reminds me a bit of hawkeye from the mcu.
There you have so many godly people and creatures. Heros with super human strength etc. And then there is hawk eye. Just a normal dude with a bow😂and the same is with little mac. Just a nornal guy with boxing gloves against monsters wizards and space dragons

I actually think Marth and Lucina would be the absolute most difficult to make a stage for a One (Two?) and Only because even though they can do some stages, there’s seemingly absolutely nothing they have that other characters can’t do better.
They run really low. That gets rid of most people
Link actually can make it all the way up, just needs to keep exploding the bombs. You should have tried Wii fit trainer and Snake try to crawl for the second stage.
if you made a robin can only do challenge for the last obstacle do something with his up b because it makes projectiles which go down so make levers in the bottom that open a wall that you have to go through
Did ness and Lucas a little dirty there they can clear the first obstacle with the PK thunder by bumping the wall and then PK thundering again

This challenge seems to have some DNA that could be used for a Squirtle One And Only, given that Squirtle got third farthest.
Characters who might be worse than Little Mac: Ganon and Doc are good candidates. Ganon at least has a few things he can do that are uncommon - the Incineroar/Ganon Cheat Code, and he has the Captain Falcon wall bounce if you construct it for his particular angle. I actually think a Ganon One And Only wouldn't be that difficult given that. Doc could be harder because of how much his moveset shares with Mario, and what it doesn't Doc is generally worse at. Additionally, you should consider Ivysaur, who is a challenger with a lot of fails but also a couple of unique traits that could be taken advantage of (Bullet Seed, Vine Whip goes through solid objects), and the Belmonts, who would have to be a Two And Only (they don't differ in any meaningful way) but almost never have successful challenges either.
