Dennis thank you for your quick service and updating the clickers. The clickers are always engaged. I fish using an umbrella rig or mojos. The reels work great. I’ve been using these for about 5 years

That is one tiny pinion gear for the size of this reel. It must mean this is a very fast line retriever! Replacing that click mechanism was quite a job! This appears to be a very well-made and designed reel. I would have enjoyed fishing with it offshore! Thanks for sharing it! I’ve seen some incredible Accurate spinning reels in the past but never got one.- Chris

was rebuilding a valiant 300. had to replace the old cam from the early models with the newer eared cam. could not get the new cam to seat properly on those flat sides for the life of me. what a pain

This is why I prefer star adjusters, way more easier to work on and less effort to use.
Sometimes. The lever drag is a simple design concept once you get used to it and they are relatively easy to ,maintain. All reels have design quirks and some are unnecessarily complicate in trying to build the better mouse trap. The Accurate twin drag star adjuster is a case in point for comparison. Thanks
That reel looks heavy duty . Are they dependable?
similar to avets. the accurate seem to hold up longer. only thing i dont like is the ar bearing where as avet uses a av dog .
These are very dependable and to the other comment, they are similar to the Avet reels
