What a wonderful performance. By the way, the title of the song is "Moon Flower" or something, right? In Japan, the season of the moon is September, isn't it? The cute pianist is wearing the snowflake accessory and ... no, no, absolutely no problem.
According to Saori Kobayshi - composer of the song, mentioned she wrote the song inspired by a flower named Epiphyllum oxypetalum (in English - Dutchmans pipe cactus) which is a flower that blooms only at night.
Not sure about the snowflake accessory but it was winter in Japan when we had this performance.

Move the drums back to the other side so that the pianist can signal you without having to turn her head all the way around. Beautiful music!
We had the regular piano trio perform for us on the day and we decided to have the stage set up as Oscar Peterson did in his performances.
It makes it easier for the bassist to react with the pianist also with sight on the left hand, in this case especially playing an original composition too.
