I just came across your video and really appreciated the information. When I installed a mini-split in the living room of my tiny home I figured it would be enough to cool the entire place. Wrong! Hopefully this will work to move air between the two rooms.
Thanks Charlie!!! I bought one of these and the fan was blowing the "wrong" way, and I was looking to see if it would be possible to just flip the fans around and "bam" you showed me it was possible. MANY THANKS!!!!!
I am confused between AC Infinity AIRTITAN T8-N and this one. I want to buy for bedroom where there is no window for ventilation. Please suggest which one to buy?
Which way does sensor face (menu side)? If I want to cool room wouldn’t it be on the room that needs to be cooled or heated ? Information on site is unclear Please help
I just bought one of these and noticed the fans weren't blowing in the direction I needed, i.e. towards the control side. It looks like Charlie just unscrewed the four screws around the corner on one of the fans and flip it around. I'm going to try that in the next few minutes and report back....
Part #2 - Real easy to change the fans around, took maybe :30 min. (prob. less). This didn't include the time to remove the unit from the wall which was just a few more mins. There are 6 screws to remove on each fan unit, 3 on the outside which holds the fan bracket to the housing and 4 on the inside that hold the fan to the bracket. The mount has 4 anti-vibration pads that just peel off. Once the screws are removed just pull the fan out and flip it over, reapply the anti-vibration pads, and reinstall the screws. Quick tips - The fan wiring harness is run thru a built-in retainer but is easily removed if you need additional space to rotate the fan. Pay attention to the Tabs on the mounts so you don't accidently reattach the fan incorrectly (like I did on the 1st one). Good luck!!!
Guy obviously knows about correct electrical wiring methods. The opening on the fan must have some type of connector. Say 1/2 romex connector about $0.75 and if the wire is in the all it should be romex or NSC Cable that wire must be sized to the circuit ampacity. 15 or 20 depending on the breaker size in the panel.
