As you can see looking at all his roles over the years, he clearly was never significantly overweight. In fact, he actually looks more fleshier these days, so weight loss definitely isn't why his features changed drastically. Besides that, his eyelids also changed way more compared to people with slightly hooded eyes, so it's really hard to believe him when he says he had nothing done. Even with his skin colour, he had a drastic change. Either his Serbian genes activated in his late 20s (cause apparently he had Serbian ancestry that he didn't know about until his ancestry was checked on a show), or he definitely went through a bunch of procedures. Honestly even if he did go for changing up his looks, it shouldn't be seen negatively. He clearly looks very unique now and is getting a lot of different opportunities cause of it

I'm Korean and my mother suddenly got double eyelids in her late teens and it's not an uncommon thing. It's happening to me these days as well. Just because someone's face changed doesn't mean they had plastic surgery. It's just called aging. Btw why would he even try to get those eyes? Koreans prefer monolids when it comes to males. He just got less tan or he might have gotten artificial tanning in the past cuz in the early 2000s it was considered more fashionable to have tan skin in Korea
