I try and finish games that are resigned by my opponent through max level stockfish. It’s kind of depressing how easily I lose winning positions when the other side makes the best moves.
I decided to switch sides when my position was totally losing, and surprisingly stockfish almost won.
@@tonybarfridge4369 that's what legends do😂😂
@@Mikhail-tal-the-GOAT There's something familiar there- If u can't beat them, join them :D
I got stockfish to an endgame once, but was down a piece and lost quickly. I like playing the bots.
I think it would be fun to watch you challenge the fish from the starting position (maybe with a slight material imbalance to make it more interesting). Even though it would be pretty much unbeatable, It could be instructive to see what breaks in your position or where stockfish outplays you.
Play against stockfish when stockfish doesn't have a queen.
and then switch to the opposite color when nearly all hope is lost
I wonder if Hikaru can beat the 3200
@@MrCelestial - I can beat 3200 engine when they're down a queen, and I'm only 1700. It would be a lot closer having stockfish be down a bishop or rook
@@self-righteousideologue9398 look at Hikaru's Botez Gambit Speedrun. The 2400s are having a hard time beating him up a queen xD
Nice mix of real world game -- nicely ended. Cool that you took on 3200 Max Stockfish and were able to win with just a two pawn advantage. Thanks for sharing!
Nice, would be fun to see the recommended moves from SF. At the beginning my idea was to get all pawns onto white squares, leaving the king free to go attack blacks pawns.
I think you yourself said that three connected passed pawns can equal a rook if they're close enough. You did say two connected pawns on the 6th rank can beat a rook and I think with three connected passed pawns creating such a situation often is possible.
Maybe try playing the max engine with knight odds. I am 1400 and I managed to beat it in one game with knight odds after playing quite q few but I think it would be quite interesting to see a much stronger player with odds vs the engine
Great example of how to not only utilize your pawn advantage, but also your king in the endgame. Important to note that you didn't always push your pawns, you also moved the king up to gain valuable control of the enemy squares
so underratedsmh, always helpful, incredible chess!
So the bishops are going to support one side of the board in a push and potentially ancher to a pawn of needed. The kings need to decide if they are needed in attacking with the advance to break through or if the advance is a cover for breaking on the defending side before going for the push.
Great stuff, please do another one
damn he just beat stockfish up 2 pawns while stockfish destroys gms down 2 pawns
No matter ahead in material, for me beating a stockfish in endgame position is impressive
that's interesting you did not look mega deep you just kept an eye out for key ideas
At 5:52, I think black could move Be2 as better move than d3?
Omg I can’t believe you challenged Stockfish15
I enjoy playing the bots. Happy to share game footage. Working my way up. Hoping to defeat the stronger bots like Hikaru and Fabiano. Will be showing wins and/or draws only. This may take me years. Then I can take on the final boss Engine Max Level (3200). It is plausible they will make a bigger final boss. At the moment I feel it is impossible to beat Stockfish 15 at max strength. With training I hope I can win some games on a regular basis. Would be exciting to see someone upload a win against Stockfish from starting position equal army equal time.
literally impossible to win against stockfish equal army equal time, engines can see stuff that are just ridiculous
Isn't the computer you were playing Komodo? I've also played the max computer and in my games it shows up as komodo
Playing against a computer is horrifying. Every one of their moves feels insidious as though they know deep down that they're wrecking your position. I guess playing against 1800+ feels like that anyway as I'm around 1100, or like an 1800 to a 2700.
It was stockfish?
I thought it was komodo
Whenever I think chess engines and bots I can't help but think about whether quantum computing technology will ever SOLVE chess.
Be interested to know what your thoughts on this matter are???
No because there has to be a way to actually store all the analysed positions for the output to be useful. Assuming quantum computing could compute an evaluation for every position as once, because of this storage issue, the individual evaluation of each node will not save at all and you just ran a program that did nothing of use to humans
Thanks!
No problem, thank you, Stefan!
Whew. Barely held on there! 3200 players are scary.
there is not 3200 players. Only bots
It's strange these days that bots beat humans when in the past they would never beat a top player

You should have known that Stockfish wouldn't stand a chance against you Nelson! 😉👍
