Raised in wide open Arizona and currently living in Portland, Oregon, Kassi Valazza’s hazy psychedelic Americana sound is showcased in this performance of “Cayuse”, filmed and recorded live at OurVinyl Studios in Nashville, TN. This session is a collaboration with Kassi, OurVinyl, and visual artist Peter Nevins.

Heard her about a year ago on a gemsonvhs livestream and been digging her music ever since. Her first album is fantastic. I love the spacey almost grateful dead kind of country sound she has.

I love her style and her guitarist plays some sweet backup licks. In the past UA-cam videos, he starts to overpower her lead. The mix on this is excellent; I can hear him without losing her rhythm and vocals.
Great version. Hopefully we get more Kassi in 2021.
