Hey John I feel like Guentzel will go to Canucks because he’s very familiar with the management team, and he’s also in Vancouver, but if Canucks are pushing for him this means Canucks need to get rid of Mikheyev for exchange or for assets

guentzel wants 9-9.5 from carolina. The thing is......carolina has a LOWER tax rate than vancouver does. What does that mean? That means.....in order for guentzel to sign in van.....he probably wants somewhere around 11m a season. Vancouvers tax rate is SUPER high.....its 47%. Which means hes going to want A LOT of money to sign in vancouver.....and vancouver only has 15m in cap space and 10 free agents. so take guentzel off your wish list dude.
signing guentzel would mean you lose 7-8 players off your roster due to cap restrictions.

I have a feeling Chabot and Chychrun BOTH wont be with Ottawa next year. Id sign a LD maybe like Zadorov. Chabot makes way too much for what he does and how injured he is and if we can get out of his contract by all means we should.
theres no feeling about chychrun. its already reported he wants A LOT of money for his next contract. So yes, he more than likely wont be a sen very soon.
I don't see Guentzel landing in Chicago. Guentzel will likely have the Rangers, Canucks, Panthers, and Stars all after him. Whichever contenders don't get Reinhart will go after Jake.

I can see the Rangers going hard for Guentzel .. gives them a scoring winger they need and weakens their main threat in the metro
@madhousesportsnyc3556 Guentzel would be a great add for the Rangers, but I would think the Rangers would want a more natural RW like a Reinhart or Stamkos. Maybe either Kane or Tarasenko comes back.

Tyler Myers lives in BC and is basically confirmed to remain with the Canucks while taking a hometown discount. Most likely will be finalized after Canucks push for Guentzel (who is reportedly already looking at real estate in Vancouver).
nah man. As of today hes asking for too much money. He wants 11-12m a year from vancouver because vancouvers team tax rate is 47%
hes asking for 9-9.5 from carolina......but since vancouvers tax rate is super high......he wants a lot more to sign there. Vancouver doesnt have that kind of cap to give one player. They have 10 free agents and 15m in cap space.
Just saw Quinn Hughes post a pic today of him , Luke Hughes & Chris Tanev at some concert and it was an absolutely dagger to my heart as a Nucks fan , I want him back in Van sooooo badly

it got reported yesterday that kane and drury are close to closing a deal and hes going back to the rags. Also, for marchessault.....its reported he will more than likely land in NY too. Rags have the cap for both those players atm and its reported drury is heavily after marchessault. Its reported hes willing to free more cap if need be. im not a NYR fan....those are just the most recent reports.
Stamkos wants to play in Mtl.bring back Toffoli he's scoring and Mtl. loved him,and his wife is born in Quebec ,I think.

The Sabres problem is, they aren't relevant. I doubt any big name free agents would go to Buff, even if the $$$ was an overpay.
erm, yeah I'm pretty sure they would. It's not like the sabres are the worst team in the league. All they need is a few solid free agents and this team could potentially be a playoff team as little as next year, though I don't think that's going to happen

yeah the game of musical chairs don't add up... your suggestion of losing lindholm, zadorov, dakota, cole, myers.. and still have 17mil or so (lets call it 15 or so after your suggestion of dillon.. ) if you say don't sign a big fish.. essentially one or more of zadorov, dakota, or myers is resigned..
@@Mellowyellow8888 I could see them signing a big fish plus a d-man. That will fill up a lot of that (so either bring back Lindholm or another top 6 forward)
