Hi James. Love your channel. Concerning the Freshtop Caps, I got some similar (look nearly identical) items from Telebrands years ago they still work great. Mine do not leak when they're upside down. They have snap-close caps, not screw close caps. These could be knock-offs of them. THANKS for your great reviews. BTW, Noah has a great attitude and an awesome hair style. 👍👌👍 😎😎😎
20:30 My family got ahold of some variation of the Freshtops gadget like 25 years ago. Other than keeping bugs out of our drinks, they served nicely as "charms" to remember whose drink was whose.
Some of the places my keys have been are worse than anywhere I’d deliberately stand, however the bottle opener mainly touch the cap which is getting removed. You can always rub a napkin around the neck of the bottle if it scares you.
I got my lazy readers a couple of weeks ago prior to seeing this review. I saw them advertised and they appealed to me to help with tech neck. They had a 2 for 1 special when I ordered them. I have really enjoyed them! My husband laughs at me every night when he walks in the bed room and sees me fully reclined watching UA-cam videos on my iPad. Great for reading books and watching tv also. Not only does it help with tech neck, if you think you get wrinkles on the front of your neck by looking down constantly, it could possibly help with that. One con, it does make me dizzy if I move my head a lot so I close my eyes with head movement. I recommend them! Another plus, you can wear them over your regular glasses.
Reef sandals with bottle openers have been around for at least 15 years. I'm surprised this is the first you have heard of them, especially from how often you visit Hawaii. I worked on a cruise ship in Hawaii from 2005 - 2007 and discovered Reef sandals then. They are the only kind I have worn ever since because of how comfortable they are and how long they last. I'm not bashing you at all here, just really surprised it took you this long to hear about them. I love your reviews...keep 'em coming!
7:00 the reason they don't pop on easily is air pressure. you left the cap on, that means that inside the small chamber, there is air that can not escape, as you try to force it on to the can, which would displace some air - also, the can releases gas and that adds to the pressure you have to fight. When you use the table, you can generate more force and thus press it on. The easier way would probably be to just remove the cap before you put the thing on.
22:07... I can understand the reason. I don't read that often because there is no comfortable position that I can sit in bed and read without blocking the light. Basically the only position that sort of works for anything longer then 5 minutes for me is holding the book directly above my head and relying on the light bouncing off my face to illuminate the page, otherwise it is read a paragraph then switch position, read another paragraph and move again. So I can see how it might be useful.
I was working at Target and got to meet you randoml a few months back. It was a pleasure to meet you man, keep doing what you're doing! Please tell your daughter that your fans love seeing that punk rock is still alive! Back when I first cut in my mohawk and laced up my combat boots, I was listening to The Unseen , GBH, Conflict, Subhumans, The Exploited, A Global Threat. If she maybe hasn't heard of these guys before, then she should definitely check them out! Take it easy!
That Home Depot hot dog scorer looks great! In MX, there are hot dog stands where they score the hot dogs and wrap a slice of bacon in the scoring. Maybe we'll try it. The kids love those. Good especially if you want to increase your salt and nitrate intake. They use the prism glasses for kids who have had back surgery and need to lay flat. They can watch tv and also just pass the days of boredom!
If you switch to diet Coke no bug will ever touch it. Not sure why but I don't really want to know because I get cranky without my diet Coke. Watch out for surgery sodas though. I had an actual lazy moving fuzzy bumblebee steal my orange soda. It was cute but I was petrified with it there.
I’ve accidentally drank both a bee and a flying ant so I’m pretty concerned about bugs in my drink. Usually I just set my phone or a damp paper towel over the top but that would work too
What a fun video! I’m glad your daughter joined in - she’s totally adorable, and was a great addition to your videos. I like when you have your kids help you out - they really seem like good kids. I am in the US Air Force, while on "Deployment" to Romania 2 years ago we would stop by the Golden Arches (Gas Station Convenience Store) on the way from the Base to the town we were staying in and I commonly got some Road Soda's that required a tool to open. I didn't have a tool of my own, but a couple of the other guys in the squad had Reef flippy floppies that I OFTEN had to borrow. Fantastic idea, fantastic implementation.
She looks like an average punk rocker only non of her patches are punk bands. It's a common thing I see people dressing punk or 80s metal but the bands dont reflect the dress. NIN for example not punk and the aquabats are a pop ska type band. Just my observation, i used to be into that scene but never dressed all decked out but other punk rockers did.
@@Mixwell1983 I don't think she looks average at all, and your logic is pretty lame. This video was very fun to watch! The reef "sandals" (we call them slippers here in Hawaii) is a very common thing. At first we was like "eww" but then we said the same as you all - "people use their mouths, lighters, etc. to open bottles." So, the bottom of your Reef slippers (which is SUPER comfy and absolutely worth $44.) sounded silly @ 1st, but very convenient when needed.

I suggest your panel because you are so unbiased. I think I was wrong, though. Honestly think you really want all of these to work. So many "review" channels involve people who are half ready to give up on these products before they start. Nice to see the difference.
This was one of my favorite videos. The sheer silliness of the products was funny and so was watching you trying to figure out how to use them. And yeah, my daughter laughs at me too. 😆
It gets a -100 from me as it's just gross thinking about it. I mean, if it's clean then I'm fine with it but if you're wearing them, then it's gross. Imagine walking outside in the dirt or using the bathroom and then using it to open up a bottle.
Reef sandals are the best. I found some at Ross once and have never looked at any other sandals. I love that they don't have the plastic bumbs on the side that cheap sandals have and make your feet hurt.
I really enjoy your videos! One of my favorite things to watch. It’s not just the products it’s your way of presenting them and who you are. Love your dog too
I know this is a (hopefully) one off, extremely specific use, but I wish I had those "lazy reader" glasses when i was in the body cast with a halo for 9 months. I was in a Circolectric bed, and when i was tilted anywhere but the exact right angle, reading and watching TV was impossible. I had a screen very similar to a microfiche reader with a button to change pages, but could almost never actually see the screen. they rotated me (end over end style, 20 degrees per rotation) every 90 minutes in the day time, and 2 hours at night to prevent bed sores, and blood pooling. with the halo, I could not move my head even a little bit. so my angle of view was exactly forward. I like seeing you with your kids. I have my 24 year old son hanging out with me often, and in almost all of the videos I have on my channel have him either in them, or there with me, operating the camera. I also like seeing Bailey in some of your videos. she looks like a great dog.
I’ve used the Fresh Top Caps, from a different company however, for several years now. They’re great for long car rides (we used to drive from KC to Atlanta a lot) when you have a cooler full of canned drinks, and it makes them much harder to spill when you hit bumps or curves in the road. They’re also great outdoors at cookouts bc it keeps flies or wasps out of your can.

6:55 your trainer is so proud!!! Hey, does it help prevent the soda from going flat as fast? I do see the bottle top/can topper a good idea, I have a couple of health issues, so I’ve been known to knock a can, or drop it due to a loose grip. Maybe I’d be able grab it up w/o loosing half the contents.
Props to Noah for repping the Aquabats! It’s amazing what strange items people dream up. Those bottle opener sandals are so gross! A)you’re handling footwear and putting the bottle next to it, and B) once you step in anything that gets jammed or stuck to the bottle opener, it’ll be unusable.
I think the fresh tops would be great for road trips! Like when your driving down an old bumpy highway and you have a can that you want to open, but your spot scared it gonna spill so it just sits there, I think that would fix it. Just open the can right before you get in the car and pop it on, or pull over for like 2 minutes to do it. I might have to go pick some up actually!
Hey James, I just wanted to say, I think it's so cool that you include your kids in your projects. That's such a rad-dad thing to do. They seem a little camera shy, but there's nothing wrong with that! It's cool to see you so energetic and comfortable with the camera. So on that note, I have 2 questions. Were you ever camera shy? How do you become comfortable around cameras, and maintain that happy and excited energy?
I have a version of the can toppers. Mine are the "SNAP CAPP" and i will say i LOVE THEM!!!! i use them EVERY TIME i use a can and mine DO NOT leak. 👍👌👍 😎😎😎
"If you stick you finger in there, it does seem to kind of work."
20:30 My family got ahold of some variation of the Freshtops gadget like 25 years ago. Other than keeping bugs out of our drinks, they served nicely as "charms" to remember whose drink was whose.
Love your reviews and just your personality it goes together great keep them coming
I have a bottle opener on my keys. I always have my keys. My keys don't spend all their time on the floor.
Some of the places my keys have been are worse than anywhere I’d deliberately stand, however the bottle opener mainly touch the cap which is getting removed. You can always rub a napkin around the neck of the bottle if it scares you.
@@corettaha7855 I don't wanna know what you do with your keys and why. A bottle opener on the bottom of your shoe is still stupid/gross.

I love your daughter on with you. She is adorable. You all seem to have great relationship. And the gangsta ketchup gun was hilarious!!
Glad to see your daughter. She's beautiful. Still enjoying your videos. Good Job. 😄

I love your channel man. kinda nice to see y'all chilling in a park. Something seldomly done by most people.
Some times I spend the whole weekend in bed reading. My arms get tired from holding the books up. Those lazy readers really have my interest.
Love it when you involve your kids in the videos, you can tell you have great relationship with both of them, a good dad!!
I absolutely love your editing style in this James!
"Ima hold it side ways like a gansta" 😂😂 "freeze hot dog"😂😂😂😂😂😂
7:00 the reason they don't pop on easily is air pressure. you left the cap on, that means that inside the small chamber, there is air that can not escape, as you try to force it on to the can, which would displace some air - also, the can releases gas and that adds to the pressure you have to fight. When you use the table, you can generate more force and thus press it on. The easier way would probably be to just remove the cap before you put the thing on.
Noah your daughter is mega cute :D Loving her style.
Can i pet your GOTHIC KITTY
Come to California. They're everywhere.
She really is!
Love the NiN jacket
Shit got weird but the goth look is fitting
I liked the video and thank you. Noah was the star. She reminds me a little of my daughter. Somewhat of an introvert. Seems like a sweet girl.
At 13:26 and I've gotta tell you... You sir are a very dadly dad. You d been dadding all over this video!😂 Love it!
The Aviator shades fit you much better than those steam punk circular style!
Your daughter has some awesome style! And so many of these items seem pretty... Situational.
I really have to agree with Noah, I can't stand bugs and I'm always worried about them getting into my drink.
Yikes, ever take a sip out of a can someone has put a cigarette butt in?? Disgusting, it happened to me!!

(Not that I don’t enjoy your videos when you’re by yourself; I do, or else I wouldn’t be subscribed to your channel.) Anyway, looked like fun, I was surprised some of these kinda worked!
One of the best videos yet. Nice work James 👍.
Ur daughters style is on a whole nother level
She looks like an average punk rocker only non of her patches are punk bands. It's a common thing I see people dressing punk or 80s metal but the bands dont reflect the dress. NIN for example not punk and the aquabats are a pop ska type band. Just my observation, i used to be into that scene but never dressed all decked out but other punk rockers did.
@@Mixwell1983 I don't think she looks average at all, and your logic is pretty lame. If you'd lived through the actual punk years you'd know punk was about individuality, not about adhering to someone else's silly "rules" about fashion. Rock on Noah, I think your style is great, especially your changing hair colors.
@@linda-moonlight your observations are so right on!! Individuality was the watchword back in the day. :D
She has three different styles.

Awesome daughter not embarrassed by her dad.. Great info. fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!
and how is the mustard gun better than just putting mustard on it from the bottle ? you gotta wash more stuff thats what
It's just mindless fun, Sean M. Don't make me get my ketchup gun.
Lol the grill sergeant needs a gun... kinda goofy. Yep I don't like cleaning xtra things!!
sean m yeah, then the kids get ahold of it and it’s ketchup and mustard cleanup everywhere!😜
No one said it was "better", but it works, that's the point.
Because Murica, that's why!
Great video James & Noah, the gadget that went on the Coke can, I would use it at the beach to keep sand and bugs out of your soda 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘🦘
I suggest your panel because you are so unbiased. I think I was wrong, though. Honestly think you really want all of these to work. So many "review" channels involve people who are half ready to give up on these products before they start. Nice to see the difference.
The glasses might be interesting for someone who is bedbound, and can't move their head to look down, but still wants to read or something.
This was one of my favorite videos. The sheer silliness of the products was funny and so was watching you trying to figure out how to use them. And yeah, my daughter laughs at me too. 😆
I love Reef flip flops, I saw these bottle opener when I bought my last pair and couldn’t stop laughing.
It gets a -100 from me as it's just gross thinking about it. I mean, if it's clean then I'm fine with it but if you're wearing them, then it's gross. Imagine walking outside in the dirt or using the bathroom and then using it to open up a bottle.
I would never use them for sure, that’s why I thought the idea of them so insane.
Love your dog too
The hot dogs don't look too bad.

The can cap thing has been out for years I bought some for when I went to the beach and they worked great for not letting bugs in your drink
Hey great video as always! Glad to see punk and family are surviving together :)
"Freeze, hot dog!" 😂
I’ve used the Fresh Top Caps, from a different company however, for several years now. They’re great for long car rides (we used to drive from KC to Atlanta a lot) when you have a cooler full of canned drinks, and it makes them much harder to spill when you hit bumps or curves in the road. They’re also great outdoors at cookouts bc it keeps flies or wasps out of your can.
Me after watching one of this guy’s videos: this guy’s got a hot dad vibe going on. Like goofy handsome dude with kids you meet at the gym and he tells you about his daughter’s ska band or something
Me after watching this video: I have never been more happy to be correct in my life. Wholesome af
Love that NIN top. And love the way he is with his daughter, dad jokes and all 😂
I will not be purchasing ANY of these items. That's the beauty of ur channel. You show me the best of any item I might be interested in. I have purchased several of the items you've reviewed as being the best.
Yay Noah is back!! Hoping her anxiety isn’t being affected too harshly from everything going on currently. Mine has taken quite a beating but luckily my 14 year old twins’ hasn’t changed much 🖤
Great reviews brother, and your daughters style is awesome. Nice to see you two bonding in such a fun way
6:55 your trainer is so proud!!! Hey, does it help prevent the soda from going flat as fast? I do see the bottle top/can topper a good idea, I have a couple of health issues, so I’ve been known to knock a can, or drop it due to a loose grip. Maybe I’d be able grab it up w/o loosing half the contents.
Push a skewer down the center of the hotdog then slice around it.
Wouldn’t the cans get warm hanging from your body (heat) + over (grill) heat?
was commenting the same. i dont think many would use that feature (a second time).
Yep. I'd rather keep cans in the cooler.
Only if you aren’t drinking them 😂😂😂
Tingle Jove when you're on a grill mission you can't let little things like heat get in your way
If they're getting warm, it means you are drinking too slow!
I might have to go pick some up actually!
sadly i think the condiment gun is more likely to get you demonetised than a beer. good luck!
7:20 the explosion comes from area 51, assuming the video was shot on the 20th or 21st of September
I have a version of the can toppers. Mine are the "SNAP CAPP" and i will say i LOVE THEM!!!! i use them EVERY TIME i use a can and mine DO NOT leak. Plus, since it seals, it keeps the soda from going flat! I dont drink alot of fluids, one can will last me about 4 hours, and even at that 4 hour mark, my soda is not flat! I swear by them.
