- Ram Mandir: Preparations are at full swing in the temple town of Ayodhya as the city gets a makeover for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir on January 22. Redevelopment projects worth crores of rupees are in the pipeline as the city transforms to accommodate devotees who will visit the newly built temple. On the other hand, road widening projects are resulting in demolition of parts of shops and houses, the compensation for which is unfair according to the locals. The panchkoshi parikrama marg is the 16 kilometer stretch around the Ram Mandir which is being widened. We speak to the locals whose houses fall on the route and this is what they have to say.

They not only arbritatorily bulldozed 3,000 shops/ homes in a small town l, but also shamelessly started selling the twon to rich people (e.g. Bachhan invested there & it was heavily promoted to attract investors). This was a rape in broad daylight in front of the nation to show that they wanted to do anything they wished for. Atleast they lost in the election, but still opposition has not flagged this issue. It has to be as important as Kasmir/ Galwan/ economic devastation happened in last 10 years.

Be gracious in giving compensation especially to women and elderly. But the issue is many of these people may not have papers. “My children are not educated” - that is the root cause that needs to be solved. Or what will I do if i cannot do farming - meaning no skilling to do other jobs. Another major issue that needs to be tackled. Are these people even aware of all government schemes out there? If not, that is a major problem again. Compensation alone will not solve anything. The farmers who got good compensation when their land was acquired for Jewar airport spent all the money on alcohol and cars. And now they are broke. Ignorance in rural areas about a number of things is what is causing these problems.

Compensation of land and building are given according to govt norm every where. Even I got money for Varanasi Lucknow highway expansion project. Where ever such projects are undertaken socio economic situation of the place improves. My village is testimony to it. Those who cry are mostly those who have camptured govt land for decades and dont get any compensation for that.

This is unfair on the part of government. People should be handsomely compensated or government should identify some parcel of land nearby (within 10-15 kms) and make a colony for them, establish that colony well with all modern amenties and give them land in that colony as per their original land or even better build them houses so that atleast they a new and good place to stay in a new colony and they don't repent the development of ayodhya at their cost.
If at the government has taken their house, the government should properly compensate and built their new house in this winter season they can do it from the money donated towards the temple.
Actually government compensates as per current rate but people get more if they sell to someone else as they get extra money which is in trend among people in community. I had gone to Ayodhya/ Faizabad in Feb of last year. Half of the houses were demolished from the front.
Fully suppprt Ram temple. But jinke ghur ujad rahe hain unko bhi fair compensation milna chahiye. Swayam prabhu Ram bhi kabhi nahi chahenge ki unke mandir ke naam pe garibo ke ghur ujad jaaye. Maryada Purushottam Ram ka mandir jab ban raha hai to fir maryada ka khayal bhi awashya hi rakha jana chahiye.

Ayodhya administration should have addressed all these difficulties, before completing the Ayodhya temple. Bhagavan Ram is the servant of the poor, not rich and powerful, according to Ramayana. DM should take fast action before Yogiji takes note of the sufferings of people.

So, Now I know why BJP lost the seat from faizabad. Here are the details -
1. As per 2011 census Muslims are 29% in this area so we can assume 10% rise in their population, and as we know that community donot vote for bjp..
2. The prices in ayodhya started skyrocketing before building the temple even the land prices of places far from the temple, the compensation other people get was not sufficient for them to buy land and build a home near ayodhya, as the prices started skyrocketing. As I saw advertisements of buy plots and the prices of those plots were like the prices as we have in noida, greater Noida, highly expensive..
3. Akhilesh candidate saw an opportunity and divided the poor Dalits who suffered the most saying bjp will amend the constitution and Dalits will have no jobs reservation.
4. So, when someone who donot have home, not having hope for job will not vote for bjp. They will vote for them who will show them hope for survival...
5. Thats all.
They should get enough time to relocate,compensation money.... U blind bakths always trying to blame others. Look at yourselves u will get the answer
