I worked w my company for the grand opening of the View. We were at the top setting up all kinds of lighting and equipment. It was awesome. I was at the top of the Pru and the view while I was working was amazing.

Unfortunately our politicians and some locals will never let a true skyscraper be built in Boston. There hasn’t been a building built taller than 60 Stories since 1974. The J.Hancock. Building. We have a few that are 60 but not the same height. Several in the past were proposed and almost passed but the politicians and some miserable locals stopped it because of shadows. Thats right .. shadows. In 2006 Tom Menino wanted to build a 1000ft skyscraper but nope. Knocked down to 60 stories and 698 ft. Millennium Place. And nothing since but 600 and 700 ft blue buildings. Kinda disappointing. The new S. Station tower being built was originally supposed to be 900 ft. But guess what. Now 700
