Ren's an independent artist who does everything from making his own beats, writing & playing the music, to planning the videos, except for his "retakes" which is when he challenges himself for fun to lay lyrics on someone else's beat. You're right that you don’t hear songs like this anymore; it's a retake of Fisher's 90s EDM track "Losing It," which only had 2 words: loosin it. Not many could rap on a fast dance track.

The music audio was really bad on this one. It sounded like it was coming out of a phone, or laptop speakers. Hopefully it was better at your end. :)
You should search for the lyrics b4 you do the reaction. Then you'll be able to follow what's going on.
