30 years ago I lived near Peterborough and fished most weekends for pike in local pits, bumped into Mick many times. Glad to know he’s still around and passing on his knowledge. Must get back into pike fishing this winter.

For the last few years, I've been expanding my fishing arsenal to include more than just red and white spoons. Dead bait fishing is something that I have yet to try. This video has taught me enough to give it a go in the upcoming season. Anyway, thanks again, and happy fishing!
Glad to see Mick back behind the camera. This guy is a fishing legend and icon. And such a great teacher to represent the sport to adults and kids alike. He deserves a knighthood for all he has contributed towards fishing.

Considering environmental impact and the relationship fishermen should have with it what is it wit companies like Fox being only focused on money and how their products are presented in the shops with loads of plastic packaging? The weights to adjust these floats don't need all this plastic, This industry really needs to do more to sustain the environment we are trying to preserve and as anglers enjoy. Fox make great products but come on Mike have a word. Im hitting that age i think where i can say when i was young, but when i was young floats weights and terminal tackle at very most came in a little sealable plastic bag after picking what you wanted like a pick and mix. appreciate theft is one issue with this and the other being how desperate companies push clear visual branding but efforts need to be made. My local Angling direct is just wall upon wall of plastic packaging with minute product engulfed by a huge card branding sealed in a rigid plastic box. We almost throw away as much plastic at the £5.99 float we end up with, especially some of the Drennan bubble float types

i now make my own custom floats and they do not appear like the ones in the tackle you may buy.... and they allow me to detect the lightest of bites
You mis informed us about te floats...the one with the darttail is for casting earodynamics and to drift in the wind...
