Great video! Hebrew seems like a very difficult language but I still want to learn some modern Hebrew. I didn't know that Savta is grandma; I always thought it was bubbe or bubbeleh, but perhaps I'm thinking of Yiddish.

I've got acquainted with the Hebrew alphabet in a matter of a few days.
Now I'm beating around some phrasebooks and videos here and there. My being a native speaker of Arabic is helping a great deal - in terms of both vocab and grammar. Cognates abound all over, with the gender case rules virtually identical.
      Le-hetrot be-video-et okhar, Yaara. :)

      Hi Jeff Hudson,
      Thank you for posting!
There is no error there, but it definitely looks funny. The word should be spelled מאוד, but for some reason (probably the font) the last two letters seem to get stuck together which might be misleading...

The Hebrew word for friend and boyfriend is the same? Geez, no wonder that's confusing

    "You have a boyfriend?!"

    "Riiiiight...JUST a friend" :P
