    Did you start your locs with interlocking or braids or two strand twists?

    Can you please please please show us how to fix that "y" that you get when you interlock the wrong way. My friend did mine and now I don't know how to get rid of the "y"s in my locs!!! 😩 I tried untwisting them by going the other way but I think they are now stuck! What do I do???!

      A Page by Page Life I had 2 of them in my head. what I did was I began normal way doing the 4 point rotation but I made sure to pull the need through each leg of the y so that it fills it in. like literally make the need pierce through each leg in one pass. I hope that isn't too confusing and that it helps.

    Can you tell me the interlock direction so it won’t leave the Y?

    Your hair is beautiful. For that thinner lock get some black male hair and use a small amount to barrel wrap that thin lock to thicken it up and stablize it. How do you feel about the colour purple. You could put a temporary purple colour on the blond ends.The purple ends would look magnificent. Use a purple gel or or spray that will wash out easily. Have fun in Mexico. 💕🍒✔💜👍👌😄

    Thanks for this video! I love your locs. I messed my locs by interlocking with incomplete circle. I have now 1 locs looking like 2 separate locs like a Y. How can I fix this ? Thanks again

      Adama-Waneyelle Tall Thank you! And you would have to put the tool between the Y, basically intersecting the Y in half. I hope this makes sense. I will try to make a video soon explaining how to get rid of the Y.

    I need help please I have had my Locs for 6 years and I have lint in my hair. I've removed it used a satin cap and silk scarf and it doesn't work!

      Do you use beeswax or thick conditioners/moisturizers? Those types of products attract lint to locs. Try using oils instead of products with a thick consistency and stay away from normal towels. Try using a t-shirt to dry your locs. Hope this helps!

      locsoflove No I don't use beeswax. And I hate greases and I only use natural oils. That makes sense with old t shirts thanks!

    Awesome, thanks for this video I have been trying to find a good one to give to friends who are having trouble understanding how to interlock their own hair (especially in the back!)
    Can you remind us again approximately how many locks you have? I know you probably don't count on a regular basis, but would you say 200 or so?

    Are you consistent with interlocking every 6 weeks? Have u gone longer and if so what's the outcome?

    • @JOSETTEBIANCA
      @JOSETTEBIANCA  6 років тому +1

      Latasha Reid The most I’ve waited is 8 weeks. I can’t wait any longer than that loll. It’s nice to see all the new growth once I retwist after waiting that long tho ☺️

      Thanks.. I'm inquiring because I am looking to lock my hair and I'm trying to decide what size I want. Will ur locks start thinning if u wait 8 wks or longer?

    If people requested that they see you interlock the back of your hair you shouldn't have sped up the video at this point. At least show them the process on the back.
    Do you interlock on clean hair?
    Why use gel? How would it look if you just used water and some oil to condition/ polish the hair?

    • @JOSETTEBIANCA
      @JOSETTEBIANCA  7 років тому

      Tiffany Boney It's the exact same process in the back. I just wanted to show a visual. And I mentioned in the video that I'm going to be washing my hair after. I wash my hair after I retwist. And the gel, like I said in the video, smooths the frizzy hair so it's easier to interlock.

      locsoflove if my original comment came across a bit harsh... sorry! Not my intentions... My friend washes after as well. Why? Sorry I fast forwarded the video because I know the process. Doesn't your hair get frizzy after washing it? What do you do to combat the frizziness after washing your hair for the first time after interlocking your hair?
      My hair texture is a bit soft in the front so it's always frizzy after I wash.
      Also how often do you interlock? I think my issue maybe that I wait too long to interlock and end up with a lot of excess hair that then needs to be wrapped around the lock.
      Btw you always have good music choices for your vids!
