It is that you two are as normal a pair of human being's as there can be and what I mean by that is that your NOT normal in your endeavor to do something bigger than yourself, but normal in the sense of being normal like the majority of us normal folks around the world. We wake up every day and work with our hands and use our mind to make something or accomplish something, not wear a suit and pretend to be someone we are not. That was a fanny episode,( did you see what I did there!). Hope the hand has healed, Simon could take the sutures out, it is only a matter of cutting the thread as near to the skin as possible so you don’t pull through and thread that has been exposed. You might want to be prepared for the wound to split of it hasn’t quite healed, just use some duct tape to stick it back together. Don’t forget to file that metal strip down!! It is fanny how many people can’t stand the sight of three own blood. , I am a retired nurse, anybody else’s blood no problem, mine I just faint.😂😂

I’ve often had to be restitched because removed too soon. So keep a close watch on it knitting together before getting them out.

Always keep a tube of Super Glue in your First Aid box, for cuts and gashes of the size you showed on the video it is easily mended with the Super Glue and no need for a visit to A & E for stitches

my mate did this when hi cut his finger bad in work. he was of the opinion they would glue it anyway. I was like, yes but that would be medically approved. He wasn't bothered just totally practically glued it so he could carry on working.

You need to go round the boat and make sure there are no other pieces of metal sticking out where they shouldn't.

A bit of solar and a bit of wind power will do a good job for you, particularly as you have very clean air in your location. You will probably find wind better in winter, solar better in summer. You should be recording battery condition often, so you will notice unexplained changes. I have not noticed a dump load device to prevent over-charging, or maybe your controller simply shuts down? Simon should not be allowed anywhere near that hand, except to hold it and say "There, there, Dear"
