thanks a lot for this tutorial! it helped me very much. it is difficult to glue the thin strings, but not impossible. for me as a beginner was important, that I did not stick to my damn perfectionism. So don't get frustratet and use a more thick superglue. if you have used too much you can overpaint the glue spots afterwords. thank's again mate!
Helpful video though I found it so much easier putting the sails on before the majority of the rigging and the ships since I have done this look so much better. Though my friend has some 3D printed sails which look loads better and he said they go on easier, though have not tried them myself yet.
I do sails last because I find it much harder to tie knots witht he sails in the way, especially since I am using so many clove hitches and other loops.
I’m glad you gave a detailed instruction on how to do this. This will help a lot. Thanks.
I am so glad I could help
Thanks again! I was wondering why there was nothing in the book about applying the sails. Great job!
Thanks for this DZ Sabre... new to Black Seas and really hadn't any idea how to fit the sails properly. Now I can press on with my first brig.
I am very glad this was helpful. Welcome to the game and you are sure to have fun with the game with your friends.

Great video but I was told the sails were plastic. This looks like cardboard to me.
They are a thick cardstock with gloss surface. definitely not plastic.
