It was good to see a Woolies advert. I remember in mid December that Woolworths and Boots used to buy up entire ad breaks to show either an extended version of their Christmas ads, or all.Christmas ads in a row.
Great to see the Chrimbo Woolworths ad......at the end Anita Harris stumbles slightly and laughs, looks to her right at Windsor Davies....who carries on regardless......never noticed this at the time!
That rainbow ident would have looked good if YTV had adopted that officially come 1982 - it would have worked well along with the new Central and TVS idents that were to be introduced. 0:20 Seems that all the small towns in Nottinghamshire except the big city of Nottingham area itself had a Wilkinson's back then. 2:38 Jim Bowen as the barman in the Tetley's advert - I assumed that he filmed it before Bullseye started. Sounds like Brian Glover doing the voiceover at the end - ironic considering that he his voice was heard in the "other" Tetley's adverts, as in the tea bags of course.
