Great riding and fast motorcycle Cuban Rider. Especially appreciate the shout out to the people behind the scenes such as volunteers, corner workers, etc. These folks need to be appreciated and are often overlooked. I know some of the corner workers at Barber Motorsports Park here in Alabama and they are some of the best in the business and I have watched them on a number of occasions put themselves in harm’s way to assist downed and injured riders. Stay safe and keep up the good content.
Superior late braking, almost supernaturally brave cornering lines, hunter type aggression and a nice bike that sounds good. I’m guessing those spots bike riders didn’t like you too much. Ride safe Peace
Thank you for displaying the real capabilities of the standard XR. People are brainwashed into horsepower figures and specs. You cooked every single bike in the video even when the Panigale V4's were trying to flex the straight you literally walked right around them in the braking zone and i bet if you had some speakers on that XR you would of been Rick Rolling everyone. SICK RIDING.
But that's experience > bike what you're seeing. The xr has the same power as the r, and compensates with torque over the 20 extra hp the rr has, which only plays a role if you really rev out the motor to the limiter. We're talking about a taller s1000r here and that's just an s1000rr with abit more torque and abit less hp. This next to a 899 or 959 panigale is around at the same level of bike.
6:17 that's my favorite. Next gear up and still pinned. Clearly the other's on track aren't slow by any means. My hat off to you sir. Great Rider and a Great motorcycle. 10/10
Great to have you post another video 🙂 The very fast guy on a pretty fast bike will always beat a fairly fast guy on a very fast bike - it's one of the track laws !
Incredibly skilled and i am happy to just watch. I do enjoy burnouts with my 07 1200 VMAX but don't need to scare myself on corners shown in this teeth clenching video. I did go into a ditch at around 100 mph on a Kawasaki 350 Triple. I was convinced my life was over at 19 and i was seconds away from death. A layer of soft mud broke my fall and piled up in front of me to bring me to a stop on my right side without a scratch. Cured my need for speed.
I'd probably killed myself if I started riding in my 20s. I was already 33 when I bought my first bike and even with more experience and caution I've still gotten some close calls.
I wont argue with the fact that the xr is a more comfortable bike than a sport bike. But, there is no comparing between the xr and other sportbikes in terms of speed and power. Sportbikes are more powerful than an xr. If an another experienced rider like you was riding on a sportbike against you on the xr you wouldnt really have a chance. Im NOT saying that it couldnt keep up. But theres a big difference between the two categories. The xr is still a great bike though. Great video by the way 💪💪
Just being the devils advocate here, but how do you know if those same guys he was passing would not be going faster on an XR? If it behaves itself that well it may be less intimidating to ride. Just sayin But I agree with you most sportbikes are too much bike for the average rider. The symptom of that is haulin down the straights and parking it in the corners.
Another great video Cuban Rider. It is a lesson to folks wanting to buy a sports bike and think they are fast. It takes more than HP to go around a track quickly. I love to see those big HP sports bikes pass you on the long straights only to be passed in the braking zone a corner or two later. Good job. I was reading comments on a video and saw you comment you didn't understand radius =RPM. The R on the left of the equal mark is for radius and the radius of your turn is equal to your bike RPM or speed. If you are going say 20 MPH in a circle continuously and the circle radius is 25 feet, the circle is 50 feet in diameter. If you change nothing but speed(velocity), lean and handlebars stay the same, then your radius will increase, as well as the diameter of the circle. Same if you slow RPMs, the circle will become smaller. That is all that radius= RPM means. Have you ever thought to try Motogymkhana? I believe you would be good at it. It is dependant on smooth brake performance. Think you can do a 10 foot u-turn or circle? Back in the 70's I used to practice doing a u-turn in a 9 foot parking space on an RD400. Talk about people dropping their jaws! LOL!! Stay safe and enjoy the ride.
Thanks senior rider, that's kind of what I understood but I thought it was a weird thing to teach. It's physics are we're all bound to it, but I don't see how understanding this concept makes me a better rider. Maybe for other people it clicks and that's how they improve, for me it's something that I do regardless without thinking about it. And yes, I need to practice, big time. Even on this track day, I was doing some passes but mostly on the brakes and the fast sections. My lean angle needs work and some parking lot drills would aid tremendously. What I need to do is get me a cheap bike with tons of crash protection and do a ton of practicing.
Liked seeing you bag all the Ducks at the end of the straight on the brakes. And I’m a Ducati guy! Everybody looked pretty chill. Looks like a solid day.

On my lousy 22 hp MZ250 sitting up and with bags on both sides, I loved when I was overtaken on a small road by some 500+ cc racer, and just hung on. I could see when their heads started going from side to side to check me in the mirrors, that they had detected me, and they raised the speed, that never helped, before we came to a long straight road, and they blew it off - or tuned off. I only bought good tyres, and unlike them, I had reason to believe, that the road ahead was free of sand, and my lower weight, but it still wonders me, how slow they were with "enough" hp.
Love my '16 XR. It's infinitely more comfortable than pure sport bikes, while giving up very little in performance. Being able to select a fuel map closer to the RR would be incredible, but I'm not sure how feasible that would be.

With Michelin cup 2's on my Bandit, I could(probably) do the same as you.
Nice riding.
Just bought an XR .No more sports
bikes for me.You've pissed a few sports bike boys off there Bro.
I live in England near Silverstone.
And I can't wait to get down there and do the same.
I'm not saying I'm as good as you, infact far from it. so if I piss one off my life won't of been in vain.💀
Amazing riding.👍
The XR is a sports bike no doubt. The HP rearsets are $$$, but gave me the clearance I needed to push it on the corners without scraping.
@@CubanRider I've seen a few of your Videos and what you've done to the XR.
1st thing is the full system with Woolwich remap.££££😭
Don't tell the wife.😀😀
Thanks for the reply.👍
Super smooth, great video!🤙🏻
On my lousy 22 hp MZ250 sitting up and with bags on both sides, I loved when I was overtaken on a small road by some 500+ cc racer, and just hung on. I could see when their heads started going from side to side to check me in the mirrors, that they had detected me, and they raised the speed, that never helped, before we came to a long straight road, and they blew it off - or tuned off. I only bought good tyres, and unlike them, I had reason to believe, that the road ahead was free of sand, and my lower weight, but it still wonders me, how slow they were with "enough" hp.
Hammering it mate, great riding, in the zone, obviously enjoying it very much. XR us a great bike! 👍
Kicking ass out there again Cuban! Great job!
Literally putting on a braking clinic...🤯
You are outbreaking everything on the track, nice riding
Out standing! Riding the wheels off that XR!
Amazing skill and respect for other riders great to see .
You kicked ass on sooooo many of those other bikes !! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Lovely riding, good video Sir, well done 👏🏻👏🏻
He is using lower gear radio (bigger rear and/or lesser front sprockets) and does power wheelie with ease.. but, lack some top speed on the stretch.
Awesome vid. The camera view is epic.
excelente video, ya te echaba de menos mi querido cuban rider. saludos.
Gracias Pietro, saludos.
@@CubanRider saludos bro…. Mas videos asi.
😎✌🏽
Love my '16 XR. It's infinitely more comfortable than pure sport bikes, while giving up very little in performance.
Being able to select a fuel map closer to the RR would be incredible, but I'm not sure how feasible that would be.
Thanos is about to snap his fingers and reset the universe after that. Hope your happy 😂 sick riding dude 👌
Skills Above Machine performance 💪💪💪
As awesome as always. Keep up the great riding , it's very entertaining to watch.
That was awesome and phenomenal skill set! A shark swimming around gold fish. 🤙🏽
