Thank you so much for this video. I have followed the steps to install hp connectivity program in a brand new pc with Windows 11. I had to write my BitLocker recovery key to be able to install the usb drivers first and the hp calculator software. It works!🎉

You also have to make sure that your file transfer on the HP is set to USB and not Infrared. Look at flag 33. You want to make sure that flag is "unchecked."

At 1:20 you said reinstall Connectivity kit, but as I can see you reinstall the USB driver. Which is required to reinstall? I guess the USB driver only and then you can use the Connectivity software and no need to reinstall Conn4x...?!?

If you have followed all instructions, installed the separate 64-bit usb drivers, ran the programs as administrator, and put the calculator in xmodem mode, and it still does not work, then it may be the usb cable itself if you are not using the original. The first one I tried did not work, the second one I tried did work.

Very useful and necessary, however, it didn't work for me because the usb driver was outdated and wouldn't connect and send the programs to the HP from Windows 10.

you have to garantee you start the xmodem server before connecting the cable also in newer pc s you have to disable secure boot (www.top-password.com/blog/set-windows-8-pc-to-boot-with-legacy-bios-mode-instead-of-uefi-mode/)
