      @tutotutot5193 Bapedi are descendants of kgosi Tabane. Who was son of kgosi Mokhatla. Kgosi Tabane had 5 sons who all became Dikgosi. First one is Diale. Diale is the father of Kgošikgolo Thobela the founder/ originator of Bapedi Kingdom ( when we greet we say Thobela.Our bigest radio station is Thobela fm). Thobela is the father of King Thulare( Hence Bapedi are called Šaba laga Thulare). King Thulare is the father of King Sekwati. King Sekwati is the father of King Sekhukune. And King Mampuru( Kgoši Mampuru prison in Pretoria is named after him because the boeres hanged him there). Back to Kgosi Tabane's 5 sons. The second one is Khetsi( The father of Makholokoe. 3 is Matsibulo father of Maphuting. 4 is Khoadi father of all Batlokoa. 5 is Mosia father of Basia. I am interested in relocating to Botswana. How is the job market? I work in the health department, so anything to do with nursing would be welcome. What about the prices of houses or apartments in Gaborone, atleast 1 or 2 bedrooms? It seems like big houses are just the trend but, I need something small but comfortable and spacious. How long does it take to get a residence permit? I would really appreciate if anyone can supply me with the info. 😊

    • @BoitumeloTumiRikhotso
      @BoitumeloTumiRikhotso  3 роки тому +4

      Hey Ntombi, thank you so much for watching. Eish Botswana is tricky when it comes to permits so that's not an easy thing to get. Since my stay here is sponsored, I have not done much research in that area. A lot of people are asking so maybe I should look into it. There's a UA-camr called @Kushatha K and she often speaks on that. So I think she would be better placed to respond to residence permit kind of queries. As for accommodation, I find rental prices in Gaborone to be expensive. They range from P5000 upwards although I find that the apartments are a lot more expensive compared to free standing houses.

    • @ntombicumalo

      You have to renew it every 3 months..You don’t need to go back to west Africa every 3mths though.My husband used to cross the boarder when his visa was about to expire ..like to SA or Zimbabwe for a day ..When you cross back they stamp 3 more months …I don’t know if someone can visit the immigration office to extend it though..

      @@listenup2882 as a Motswana who has grown up and lived in botswana their whole life I can tell you Batswana don’t have better morals and values than anyone really. Botswana’s socioeconomic issues vs South Africa are different and that impacts crime. For example just the rate of unemployment. Poverty levels are also different. Most of Batswana may be unemployed but can live of the land as we have low urban populations. Vs SA which has large urban populations that have to resort to crime if they’re unable to find work to feed themselves.
