On my first kit I wrote down everything I purchased and in which order I arranged them just like you did. What was a LIFE SAVER for me was *Taking Several Photos of my Notes & Brands/Product Labels and Emailing them to myself.* I always have access to those photos and I can update them as needed even after losing my notebook. Taking photos really did save me a lot of time and energy and hassle. I hope this info helps someone. 💜💜💜
Thank you for sharing your kit with us this was very helpful I’ve been trying to build my kit and add new additions that would help improve my work and i can’t truly say this will definitely help with my process as a starting Mua💗 would love to see more content like this. You should definitely consider doing a Pro Mua Detailed Sanitation video I feel like a lot of artist would enjoy it including me ofc looking forward to more content like this keep up the good work 💗✨
New subscriber. Did you use an Arbour press to repress your makeup? Would you consider doing a video of the process you used to repress? Have you had any issues with the magnet in your kitpack palettes or powders breaking ?
I did not use an arbor press. I don’t have anything to depot so unfortunately I probably won’t make a video on it but there are many videos on this on UA-cam and IG. I am happy with all of my condensing. No issues.
LOVE this video, so helpful!! Will you pretty please make a video actually working on a client so we can see how you use your products while being sanitary? Specifically I’m unsure how to use cream products on a client because on myself I like to warm up the product on the back of my hand and work it into my brush or sponge from my hand and then apply to my face, so I’m not sure how to distribute the product evenly from a mixing palette to my tool to a client’s face 😅
How do you feel about using a foundation palette instead of buying single foundations? I’m just starting out and I read the RCMA foundation palette is great!
I’ve got a kit and has everything I need and would love to use but I don’t know how to get knew clients. Please how do I get knew bridal clients and what platforms do I advertise my work
Hi Simone.. I love this video, it’s my first time to your channel and a new subscriber now. It’s gonna help me so much as a new freelance makeup artist 🤎 Also what do you think about Laura mercier loose powder? I wanted to get it but I don’t see it in your kit so I just wanted to know your opinion on it if you’ve already tried it😊
Thank you so much for this video! I subscribed right away ❤️ do you happen to remember where you got the case that you keep the lashes & disposables in?
I need help choosing born this way concealers If I ordered 3 today Which ones would you recommend so I can mix in between? And when I get around to buying them all what shades do you carry in your kit?
Hey can you explain how your powder bronzers are in a rectangular pan with when CT and Mac come in circular pans? Do I not know about the smaller rectangular options or do you some how depot the powders? Thanks!
This is excellent. I was a bridal and commercial makeup artist for many years when I was self-employed. Then I disassembled my kit when I went to work for Ulta because they had everything there. That was several years ago. Now… Post pandemic I am back to being self-employed again and wanting to rebuild my makeup kit with some of the latest and greatest. This was very informative and super practical. You have a lot of things in there that I never would’ve thought of that are absolutely brilliant. I especially like the way that you’ve organize all of your clever little containers. My question to you would be… Do you get a lot of your make up at cost? I know that you have been gifted a lot of it. But as I’m looking to keep my costs down I really don’t want to pay retail if I don’t have to. I’m working on my comp card right now to get the Mac discount. Any advice there?
Shop the sales, sign up for each company's website so that you know when they have a sale. So many will have 20-30% off from their own website. (Compared to sephora or ulta) I'm just getting started but I know i want to specialize more in high end. Natasha Denona has 30%+off for black friday on sets, tarte has a sale right now 7 items for $65. PMG constantly has 30% off, for drugstore CVS, walgreens etc will have buy one get one 50% off certain brands, ulta will have buy one get one for eyelashes...soooo many sales for the next 2 months this is the time to build your kit.

RCMA palettes are great! Cinema Secrets and MAC also have foundation palettes and both give MUA discounts

I am really confused about all the Morphe products 😕 they are very low-end performance, in my opinion, definitely not for an artist kit.
You’re welcome to stay confused ;)
Love this video! So helpful 😍😍
