Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the views, because I did too! Colorado sure is amazing, and if you get the chance to take your FJ to the Ouray/Telluride/Silverton area or even attend FJ Summit, I would highly recommend you do so!
Awesome video! I've had my 2012 fj tt for 7 years now and I still havent done any trails. It's still stock besides the air filter and alternator. The summit is on my bucket list for sure!!
Beautiful video and I appreciate your enthusiasm for the FJ. On day four I was thinking it would have been nice if you had a graphic naming the town where the group photo was taken, along with another graphic thanking people of town and local police for closing the road for you.
IT will be an experience you'll never forget! And you don't have to do the crazy trails like Black Bear Pass if you don't want to, it is definitely smart to ease into it!
A stock FJ can indeed do any of the trails however you may scrape or bottom out here or there, so my advice would probably be to get a 3" lift to avoid that from occuring. But it definitely isnt necessary. The red Trail Teams you see in the video is stock too and he does fine on the trails.
@@fellerfit9888 If you haven't decided already, here is a guide I put together on the FJCruiserForums: www.fjcruiserforums.com/threads/the-new-complete-lift-listing-and-comparison-theyre-all-here-updated.156303/ I recommend staying away from "spacer lifts" which are usually the cheapest out there. Go for something that is tough and proven like the Bilstein 5100s or Old Man Emu 3" lift. If you have money, the nicer lifts like those offered from ToyTec, King, Icon, or Fox are also solid choices and are adjustable.
Just there for style. From the factory there are just small halogen bulbs in there that dont throw out much light. Ive replaced mine with LEDs that make them a bit brighter, but in the end they are just for looks. Some people put amber colored lights in there to make them more like marker lights and I have heard of people who have modified them to blink with your turn signal but in the end they are just style.
How was it getting to Lake Como, and do you think theres any decent camp spots around there? I looked up some other videos and it seems like its a couple of spots with some rock crawling, and I worry about my 5th gen 4R with a 2 inch lift and ko2s getting there.
There are multiple ways to get to Lake Como, the easiest is probably over California Pass and then you drop right down into the valley with the lake, the next option is via Corkscrew Gulch and over Hurricane Pass, which is my favorite way, or you can go up Poughkeepsie Gulch which like you said, requires a bit of rock crawling on "The Wall" obstacle
Ah, Black Bear and Imogene passes near Tellurite always free your mind! Nice drone shots but should be about you guys having fun and not FJ commercial 🤣
@@danbrowitt343 I definitely need to huh? Made a video recently about my first TRD Special Edition FJ but I should make a "walk-around" video for the current FJ! In the mean time, check out my build thread on the FJCruiserForums: www.fjcruiserforums.com/threads/icy-fjx2000s-trail-teams-build.716850/
Nice drone footage. Did you use a filter for all these videos? What settings did you use? Manual or auto? Was it not very windy for you when flying on California, Lake Como and Hurricane passes? I also have a Mavic Pro and have crashed twice and had to replace the drone once already. I drive a Infiniti QX80. I was in Ouray too offroading same days. I tried to fly at about 9am when I got to Hurricane Pass. The wind was too strong, drone warned me. Based on past experiences, I landed my drone to avoid crashing. Got to California Pass, winds still too strong. Did not fly. Lake Como, same thing. So, I just did not fly my drone in the mountains. I missed capturing such great shots.
FJX2000 Productions Thanks for that info. You were lucky then. It was truly windy on my own trip and because I had crashed before where my drone was totalled, I was not willing to fly my drone and let it fight the strong winds. So maybe some other vacation I may be lucky.
Lol! There is certainly an increase of 4Runners and Tacomas at the more recent FJ Summits but I believe FJs will always be the most common thing there.
Awesome video, too bad i live to far away to participate.
Yes for some people it is a once in a lifetime event, but I've been blessed to live close by and can get there in just about 2 hours!
Wow great view. Just pick up a fj cruiser. Looking forward to seeing it for my self!!

This video literally inspired be to buy my FJ. Thanks!
Wow what an honor! Thank you! and congrats!
I am a fj owner. Besides the magnificence of the cruiser, I have to say that these takes are breathtaking.
Thank you! I love the FJ too! And the scenery is top notch out here in Colorado as well!
Great video. Beautiful drone shots. 🖒
Thanks a ton!
After watching this I am twice as much happy about my newly purchased FJ. great video! looking forward to join
Glad I could help! The FJ is my life, and I have loved both of mine! Hopefully you can make it to the Summit someday!
I love FJ ...
Same!
Wow .. what a shot of the incline .. on black bear pass.. the drone footage is awesome .. thanks for sharing. it ..

Awesome! I love the 2012 TTSE, probably my favorite color!
It was cool seeing everyone there, we were just in town by chance but were scheduled to go to moab thursday so missed most of it.
Oh what a shame! It was an awesome event! But Moab isn't a bad substitute!
💙fj toyota !! Saludos! México!🇲🇽
Great drone footage!

Thank you! Did you end up making it to FJ Summit 13?
Awesome Ariel Footage!!!
Thanks!
Excellent video. Love those FJs . Didn’t see any new ones at the Toyota dealer, are they coming back ? Congrats 🎊!
Thanks! And Probably not, 2014 was the last year they were produced for the north American market
Beautiful video and I appreciate your enthusiasm for the FJ. On day four I was thinking it would have been nice if you had a graphic naming the town where the group photo was taken, along with another graphic thanking people of town and local police for closing the road for you.
Thank you! And you are right, that would have been nice for sure, I will have to add that in the future.
FJ for life I got the red one
Nothing Nothing FJ>Any jeep
The radiant red is my favorite! lucky you!
That's pretty cool! I'm gonna have to make time to go to an FK Summit in the future.
It is definitely a bucket list event if you love FJ Cruisers and off-roading!
Where is this place? Amazing video thank you for sharing
Ouray Colorado is where the event takes place!
I’m getting the 2007 FJ cruiser this year hopefully 🙏
@@danigarcia4737 Hopefully! Good luck! And thanks!
Great footage! Someone LOVES their white FJ!
Thank you! And yes I do!!
Very nice video. Im sure you have a nice community too. And nice cars.
The FJ community is wonderful for sure! It was been a great experience!
Great video, thanks. Planning for first time in 2019.

Some great shots H, see you at this year's :-) might be bringing a drone too, there's a few other spots on Imogene I want to shoot
Thanks! Hoping to make it again this coming summer!

How fast did tickets sell out this year?
Guillermo Albicans within a minute or so or something like that! Very quick quick!
Guillermo Albicans Exactly 22 seconds. Tickets sold out.
I see the mirrors on the FJ has lights do they work or turn on or they are just there for style?
Just there for style. From the factory there are just small halogen bulbs in there that dont throw out much light. FJX2000 Productions thank you for answering my question and can’t wait to see FJ Summit 13
What size tires were most of y’all running?
Jacob Hicks most common size run on aftermarket FJs are 33s (285/70R17) but some like me run 35s (315/70R17)
Did you need to change any axle ratio for the 35?

Great job on the footage and music, I’m convinced to buy an FJ over a 4Runner. What program do you use for your videos?
Thanks! And I use Adobe Premiere Pro.
What s the tire size on the black trd rims?
315/70R17
Please tell me there was more than 8 FJ's that showed to the Summit this year?
Did you see the very end of the video? I have shots of the big group shot at the end with over a hundred FJs at least!
Ah, Black Bear and Imogene passes near Tellurite always free your mind! Nice drone shots but should be about you guys having fun and not FJ commercial 🤣
NICE!
Thanks! It sure was an amazing trip! I've been lucky enough to attend 6 FJ Summits so far!
🖤
I love it too!
Having a 6-Speed manual transmission FJ helps lot.
How so? I got an auto because I didnt want awd. I like a transfer case and the choice of rear wheels only.
I know the manual FJs are full time 4WD but I have heard the manual gearing is better for low range.
Who's Alpine White FJ with the TRD wheels, fender flares, and snorkel? Does he have a channel?
You're on it!

Lion king
"The Spot" on Imogene Pass sure is reminiscent of that Lion King moment huh?
That ledge looked so unstable, it could have give due to the weight of the FJ.
Sure hope that doesn't happen anytime soon!
