I always wondered if you could do some sort of crossover with them to get more exposure. Even something small like appearing on their podcast. Are you referring to their Miras brand oud? It is a legitimate oud. But it is a unique oud. Not traditional. It is built really well, but it has a very different sound than what one expects from a traditional "arabic" oud.

I would suggest any zoom handy recorder microphones for oud.
