Best video for understanding these cheap battery monitors! I wondered why my battery read 100% SOC all the time until I found it was set to 1.3v.
Ang new project ko 12V 300 AH na powerwall. Natapos ko na yung 48V kanina. Install ko na lang PZEM 015.
Ang mahirap talaga eh paano mo lilinisan yung wiring sa dami nung wires. Kelangan ko pahabain mga wires. Sobrang dami gagawin din. Pero sana matapos ko next week. Malaking tulong mga video nyo.

Hi sir JF Legaspi. ngayon lang uli napadaan sa channel mo. good to see u have parameter setting tutorial for pzem-015. isa kc sya sa mga magandang device to monitor ur battery soc. hindi sya kamahalan and gaya nga ng sabi mo its not that really accurate but fair enough na rin for the price. ung mga mas accurate kc na battery monitor will cost u 2x or even 4x the price.

Ang 80% DO ay nasa 3.2V per cell at ang 90% ay nasa 3V.

Are there any schematics of the PZEM-015 available anywhere? I have one that got blown, I think it it didn't like the connection to the current shunt using a BMS when it cut power and opened up the P- from the B-. The current shunt inputs need to be at ground, and when they floated up to the rails, it got fried. Now I notice the MXM11P62 8-bit RISC microcontroller with 24-BIT ADC gets warm just with 5V power applied.

Good day B. Ang pinaka simpleng paliwanag ay ganito. Yong negative line ng SCC papuntang battery bank, putulin mo sa gitna at doon mo isingit ang shunt. (Illustration lang ha) 😊

Good day. Hindi po capacity ang nasa display. Ah po yan na maaring nadiskarga kung naka-install ito sa DC output side o naipasok kung naka-install ito sa dc input side.

Ang high voltage settings ng PZEM-015 ay may isa pang digit sa pinaka-una, dapat 0 (zero) kundi, hindi talaga lalabas ang SOC bars sa display. Pakibalikan mo ang tutorial at huwag magmadali at mag-skip sa panonood.

Sir wala bang epekto sa reading kapag medyo mataas masyado yung ampere ng shunt, nacheck ko kasi dun sa markings ng shunt ay 200 pero binili ko sa 100a lang. ang initial load ko lang naman sa gagawin ko ay 7 led lights na 10watts at 5 electric fan na 65watts pero mga 12 hours or more sila nakabukas. Kasi dito sa tutorial mo kapag naiset mo lang yung taman shunt na nakalagay ay ok na?
ito lang naman ang matagal nakabukas ng magdamag sa bahay at charging lang 5 cellphone.
Sa parameter settings bro under “Current”, i set mo lang kung ilang amps yong shunt na binili mo. Kung 100A, ilagay mo lang din sa 100A yong current settings. 😊👍

Mahkaiba ang function ng dalawa, monitoring module ang pzem-015 samantanlang ang lvd ay voltage sensing module. Hindi pwede.

How I calibrate my PZEM-015 to any resistance shunt, as I figured out with my peak voltage I had set to 29.4V:
1. Remove the PZEM-015's back cover.
2. Insert a short circuiting jumper wire into the two, 0.1 inch distanced, designed holes on the PCB.
3. Feed the PZEM-015 energy meter with a precisely adjusted 20V voltage from a bench supply.
4. Run through my shunt resistor a precisely adjusted current to one tenth of the current's full scale, that is 5A at 50A full scale, through my desired milliohms shunt, flowing from another bench supply. (The shunt's outputs must be connected to the meter's current measurement inputs.)
5. PZEM-015 should display 20.0V and 1/10*FS current (5.00A if the set Full Scale was 50A) as primary variables, equal to the reference values.
6. Shunt calibration done, I disconnect the jumper. After this the PZEM-015 can be used normally.
The power-up cycle of the PZEM015 must happen with the jumper already put on in order to calibrate the scale.

14.6V sa high at ang low ay depende sa DOD percentage na gusto mo. Halimbawa 11.8V or 12V.

I have this PZEM 015 monitor and I've set everything but the SOC always shows at one bar or 10% on the battery symbol.
Have I wired it incorrectly?
You must have set the high voltage incorrectly. Leave the first digit from the left to zero.

And you also need to set the low voltage 😊👍
@@JFLegaspi It turned out to be one of the micro wire ends was not fully seated into the unit at the back. You have to push hard on the button tabs all the way down and make sure the wires are contacting properly inside. Works great now.

Good day. Ang 4awg na silicone wire ay maaring nakakapag-handle ng 180A depende sa quality neto. Mas mataas ang current handling neto kompara sa ordinaryong mga wires.

Hindi dapat. Kung 100A ang shunt at umiinit, ito ang mga dahilan. Una, baka maluwang ang turnilyo ng shunt. Kung hindi maluwang baka yong terminal ng wire ay maliit lang. Pangalawa, yong wire size, baka hindi rated for 20A.

Ang PZEM -015 ay pwede pang monitor sa papasok na current, halimbawa mula solar charge controller papuntang battery bank o di kaya mula battery bank papuntang iinverter o load para mamonitor naman ang konsumo. Para naman ma-monitor ang AC load, mula sa inverter to load, PZEM 022 ang kailangan.

I bought it and disappointed. The SOC is fake it's only an estimation based on the battery voltage, not current as it should. Plus it only counts the current while discharging, not charging, so the displayed value is also false if you charge the battery while using it (which most of the time is the case). Useless gadget.
It works fine with me, though it might not be the most accurate module out there. 😊👍
