These are beautiful cars, dependable, and drives like a dream. Engine has good power, transmission is very smooth. With Michelin tires it feels like you are floating on the highway. Change oil at 4k engine will run forever.

A very nice car, but I would have some concern about those active front-grill shutters which close at high speeds -- particularly during hot-weather driving. Wouldn't they increase the chances of the engine overheating? I really don't think I'd want the grill to close when I'm blasting along the highway on a hot summer day-!! I think GM's engineers should have thought of a way to channel the flow of air THROUGH the engine bay and OUT OF the car via the trademark Buick "port holes" rather than just cutting off the flow of fresh, cooling air altogether!
$46,000 is way too much money for this car. They are out of their minds. Hell, go get a corvette for $50,000. These cars are on the used lot for $28,900 with 4000 miles and one year old. That is a big loss if you bought it new.
You are comparing apples and oranges. People who want a car like a Buick, especially in this class, aren't usually shopping for Corvettes. It's reasonably competitive in its class though perhaps a bit pricy, not nearly as overblown as many think.
I have a 2005 lacrosse and with almost 110,000 miles it still drives and runs perfect. I can tell you that even though I have not driven a new model lacrosse, after over 10 years it's still a fun car to drive and very reliable if taken care of properly
clayton betts I bought my car in 05 & was choosing between the Lacrosse, Impala, & Grand Prix. I went with the Grand Prix GTP. It's been a fun and reliable car for 190000 miles with no major issues & minimal upkeep costs. I'm again in the market and looking at the Lacrosse. It's a supremely comfortable car.
The high end Hyundai seems like a good value until you compare the routine maintenance costs & the amount of time you waste sitting in dingy low end dealerships getting work done. Been there... not going back.
The Lacrosse is actually a full size sedan. Not a mid size.
Wrong! It’s classified as midsize.
@@daetronbeverage-sanders5348 regal is midsize, verano is small size, lacrosse is full size

Great presentation, clear and professional. It gets very old hearing sentences started with "SO...." and every third word "AHEM..." Nice job!
I'm 6,2 and have plenty of head room in back seat, I got the awd and it just plows through snow, never stuck
Thanks for this info!
Best review on this 2014 lacrosse I've seen
Great video Dave!

170 on the dash this car is fast as hell
Good video Dave
I priced one of those on the Buick site and no way in the world I will pay 45k that!!! You can get a way better for that money.
Better? Name one.
I'm debating between this and the 2014 Kia Cadenza.
Oddly me to
13k for 88k miles? Would that be a good deal
I got a 10 cxs with every option and 70k. Paid 8 grand
If you could get that at todays standards it would be a great deal

Why would someone who is looking for a luxury mid size car by a corvette?

They get uglier every year...

What brand of car do u drive on a daily? I am debating between this buick lacrosse and the Chrysler 300. Which do you prefer?

Andrew S that was funny wasn't it... I too was laughing out loud!
it looks like my 2006 honda accord.
Who cares?
That's to much i by a bmw or infinity before I pay 45,000 or that Hyundai genesis
buick is quieter than the genesis. Both are good cars though.... i like the buick's interior a bit better
The 2015 are way better on looks value and price just on the base v6with 310hp both are nice car's but hands down the genesis
It's all about what you want!
