God damn. They really did it, didn't they? Brought back Ian Livingstone as the composer. I would genuinely sit for hours on the menu of F1 2012 listening to the epic score, as the McLaren/Ferrari/Red Bull sits on its plinth, gleaming and ready to do battle. That game had one of my favourite video games scores ever, and I love the stringy echoes and crescendos that are weaved throughout the 2021 soundtrack too. Bravo, Codies and EA!
The only thing is that they use the main theme at a Grand Prix to hype people up, this song would not do that to the same extent, it does not give off that kind of vibe. But you are right its literally so good!
I wish they made this the official theme for all future F1 games and e-sports. The motif presented throughout seems to be more emotional, possibly thanks to the presence of their first story mode. I mute F1 22 just to hear this when I'm browsing menus.
E.A may have made codemasters remove classic cars, but the fact we have our version of the journey, plus absolute bangers makes this the HANDS DOWN greatest game ever.
EA had no sway over that decision or any related to this game, and codies ultimately have final say, they're treated the same way as Respawn so try not making up bullshit next time
