i think they got shading down perfectly in 2k9. it looks like the mechanics were still a little stiff tho in 2k9. still a little stiff on 2k10; 2k11 was a little too loose. 2k12 was pretty tight

2K16 has always been my favorite. Only downfall to it is it crashes a lot and doesn't start up sometimes on PC to the point you give up playing it. Steam forums and other forums are filled with people encountering the same 2K16 problems (crashing and start up problems) with no solutions. I recently finished playing 2K19 My Career (season and playoffs) and it doesn't match up to 2K16 IMO.
Fredrick Batiste 2k15 gave me so many emotional moments I legit cried for 30 minutes when I lost the finals in that game I also prayed to god for a W when I was in the playoffs 😂
