2k Graphics are great, but their biggest problem is the Arena designs. Mostly the courts. Live adds reflections and it makes the court appear much better. 2k Courts look pretty bland. A few light reflections here and there.
They should work together and make the greatest nba game of all time

I like how it is actually a competition this year. You see many people they picked live something what never happened the last years. That's great because competition means both companies have to raise their game especially 2K if they want to hold the top spot.
I think this is the closest the two games have come to each other, tough pick but really gotta give it to 2K. Don’t get me wrong they both have good aspects, but Live falls a little short in some things such as Commentary. It’s super choppy where as in 2K you feel like your watching a game. It’s more Authentic. Props To Both 2K & Live. 2K on top again for another year.
This time I'll go for Live.

This was a surprise. The courts look so nice on live 19. If 2K were able to replicate the courts like in live 19 but were able to keep the animations n the graphics of everything else the same, there would be no competition

Player movement seems to be a little more realistic with Live. Subtle at times. But definitely less robotic.

I love 2k with a passion. I have many memories of sitting down with friends and playing some 2k but 2k is becoming the apple of gaming. They're throwing out the same damn thing just minutely better then it's predecessor. Literally just the same game just better graphics and maybe one or two new features that don't much change the game at all. I haven't felt good about a 2k since 2k16.
I like how live has the espn score bar. It makes it realistic like your watching a real game
The presentation on 2k is unbeatable....the wnba league make up for it on live though but '20 release is gonna be THE ONE💪
It was a tough choice for me on launch day, so I just got both so I wouldn't regret buying one over the other.

Overall I think live has a way better way of handling half time shows and the interface of the game, also I prefer their player creation. But in game 2k is still slightly better, live still feels pretty stiff... but if things continue going like that then it's only a matter of time when live takes the cake.

People don’t give NBA Live 19 enough credit for being a huge improvement in the NBA Live franchise. Anyone can jump in and have a blast with it’s simple controls. It has such a beautiful presentation because of the ESPN license. The soundtrack has a bunch of jammers on there. Surprisingly it doesn’t have a bunch of micro transactions like other EA Games. The career mode is alright. I personally just like playing exhibition games. Overall NBA Live 19 is a really fun that I pick over NBA 2k19 any day.

If Live will fix body models and animations... I really would consider trying it over 2K next year.
Live just needs to tweak the animations and character models and smoothen things out and probably live would dethrone 2k.

I was completely team 2k going into this year but they don’t do enough anymore. They made no improvements over last year, all they did was mess the controls up and make defense even more ridiculous than it already was.

I’m going with live cause I don’t feel like paying for everything in the game purchasing vc and most things on live are free and they have better courts and graphics it’s just the career mode like they can make live career mode simulator to 2k but make way better other than that I’m going to have to go with live
I have NBA Live 2018, 2k16, 2k20, and I think 2k20 is better, at least for career mode.
You don't need to pay anything for 2k also, I have 3 85 ovr players without paying. 2k's mygm is also cool.

Yup pretty much. I bought nba live last year and this year I bought nba 2k, and personally I liked 2k better. Live has better graphics and presentations but 2k has better gameplay and animations. In my opinion you should try the demos this year and see which one you like best
