Hi Shelley these collection videos do give the viewer a good reference as to which foundation to try, without navigating the spreadsheet. It's also a reminder of how the foundations looked on the skin. I'm super dry and haven't worn a matte. foundation in many years tbh, but some of these didn't look as dry as expected. I usually go for the glowy, dewy or hydrating type of complexion product, but these often don't have the longevity/transfer resistance needed for mask wearing tbh. I might try the Max Factor equivalent of the cover girl foundation shown (same company, but different packaging/branding/pricing). Best wishes
I absolutely love!! 💜 Foundation Fest I am kind of new to your channel I've found you about six months ago and I have been binge-watching every single one of your videos and I must say that Foundation Fest is my absolute favorite I am obsessed with finding the perfect foundation for me I just turned 40 so I love that you fit my demographic when it comes to make up I stopped watching the 20-somethings because I realized that no matter how hard I tried that makeup was not going to look good on this ( 40 year old skin 😉) so thank you so much I so appreciate all your hard work and the research you do for each one of these videos it does not go unnoticed thank you for making my day have a blessed and beautiful evening🎃🦇
i binge her videos too i am still trying to find a foundation for my extremely sensitive dry skin and i don't trust very many youtubers but i can tell shelly is the real deal
I think the CoverGirl might be a winner for me.🥳 Off to Walmart I go, hopefully it works out for me also! Thanks Shelly for All your hard work for your YT family.😁
I took one of your suggestions and added a drop of face oil to a few foundations that didn't work for me at first..... wow! I might, MIGHT, change my mind on the elf cc cream.... TY for all your tips, tricks, and reviews!
Thank you so much for this. With covid I haven't been buying makeup or really keeping up with it. Actually i've not worn much makeup at all for this past year and half now. I'm actually going to throw away almost all my makeup and start fresh.
I am in the same situation! I have ordered two foundations and neither of them worked. I'm just going to wait until I can go into the store to try them.... I'll probably waiting a LONG time!
I also love the cover girl outlast foundation; however the shades that look more “neutral yellow” I am light olive skintone From 🇵🇷 tend tu pull more on the pinkier side. But overall it’s a beautiful foundation.
I have 2 modules left but I haven't touched it the last few months due to the end of the school year. I need to finish it! That's the down side of non-time-based/at your own pace courses; it's too easy to put it off for later!
Have you done any videos about how to find your undertone, or how to find your correct shade? I am new to makeup... well, more than a basic eyeshadow and mascara. I am 39, so it's been a journey, lol. Your videos have really helped me!
It's an older video of mine (get ready, I'm blonde and probably still say "umm" a lot!) but it's still accurate! :) ua-cam.com/video/t5U6wk84iDw/v-deo.html
I love your presentation. Every time a try a new foundation (light to medium matte or satin), I finish the bottle then always to back to Your Skin But Better and BareMinerals Complexion rescue. Those two are my faves. But you convinced me to try the Clarins and the Lorac (two brands from which I have never purchased an item).
Wow I don't ever hear anyone talking about Clarins makeup and I had absolutely NO IDEA THAT they had a foundation....it just seems as tho it would be good just because it's Clarins brand honestly....but Shelley have u since then learned that that Clarins looks WAY TOO WHITE🤍 ON YOU??? OR IS THR LIGHTS JUST SUPER HIGH OR WHAT?? I'VE NEVR SEEN u wear any quite that light on u....but still again.....could definitely be the lighting
Thank you so much. I hv dry mature skin. Tried lancome stick and totally did not work for me. I hv tried sooo many and the CG 3 in 1 is amazing 👏....as good as ELDW for me but w out dryness. I am shook by this. Also tried wet n wild hydro cream..something like that per your review also and it is amazing! Thank you for your reviews.
Nothing to do with the foundations, but your look wonderful🤗😎 Edited to add:: Oops , So sorry, I meant to write *Your HAIR looks wonderful" (along with everything else)👍🏼
What foundation brush do you recommend? I have always used a sponge but I want to try using a brush to see if the coverage is better than my sponges but not sure which one to buy. I would appreciate any help you can give me with what is a difficult choice for me.
I love your videos but I just tried the cover girl and it was so very drying and made me look wrinkly! I put it on with a flat brush just like you did. I ended up getting Maybelline Fit Me for normal to dry skin. I’m not great with makeup so maybe I did something wrong but the one I got seems better for dry skin.
The hard part about picking foundations especially is that everybody's body and skin chemistry is different, so while we can usually take advice from others on things like settling into lines or showing texture, it's very hard to judge what your experience will be on anything affected by your own body chemistry, hydration, nutrition, etc. They're all so variable. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you! I like the Maybelline Fit Me but it's more drying on me than the CoverGirl.
I'm trying not to get too excited but they MIGHT be done with my new beauty room tomorrow, meaning I could start moving into it! They should be done with the whole inside by the end of the month. Outside is still in progress.
Margaux Thompson, Well that's wonderful about the Lorac!! Since you mentioned you received it in the mail (as I have also been doing most everything these past 18 months or so), do tell---> How did you get a satisfactory shade match? Thank you.☺
Real Techniques make a a blush brush which they themselves prefer as a bronzer brush , even Hung Vango uses it. And Mac make a small blush brush which is meant to be excellent.

It's the name of the series of videos I do where I review foundations - like a festival of foundation :)
love you Shelly
Nothing to do with the foundations, but your look wonderful🤗😎

I think you are awesome and I love your videos. You are beautiful inside and out and it shows❤️
Bahaa that beautiful bean footage....love that commercial too....I was wandering what color YOU wear in the Danessa Myrick one?
3 neutral is closest for undertone but it's a smidge too dark for me most of the year.
FYI the Covergirl is $4.49 on Amazon today. Idk if it’s on sale for just today or what but can’t beat the price!
Oooooh thanks Julie!!
Thanks so much sweetie, geekin out
Sou are the king of Foundation

Hello! I just got the Lorac foundation in the mail and I LOVE it. I was totally blown away by the coverage. Thank you!
I'm very surprised they aren't talked about more! Their eyeshadows are fantastic, too!

Hello. Do you feel the CG will work ok on 50 yr old skin as well?
My guess is yes! =D
2nd!!🎃🏚🦇
What is your favorite brush to do bronzer? I'm looking for a good bronzer and a good blush brush. What's ur thoughts on the hakahudo brushes ect
Real Techniques make a a blush brush which they themselves prefer as a bronzer brush , even Hung Vango uses it. And Mac make a small blush brush which is meant to be excellent.
I use a brush that was limited edition from Wayne Goss. I haven't tried any other very-high-end brushes.
