Oh cool, this is a cut down version of her show on Pluto TV, where there is an intro, her doing a full dinner and then desert, and quite frequently, her dog, Ziggy will show up. I try to remember to catch it on Mondays. Right now, they are doing a week of her shows, 2 episodes each day, beginning at 8pm Central, or 5pm PDT on the west coast. Love watching her, her style is my kind of style. Typically, her cooking at home is much like these tacos, simple and a bit rustic, but still not exactly plain food.
At first I wasn't wild about the taco ingredients, but then it really started appealing to my "weird food" taste because of all the healthy, unusual combo of ingredients. The crema sounds very yummy! I'm now trying to figure out just went to make these!!! 😊
Fish is not uncommon to taco's in themselves, but I think it's Cod that's used most, or similar white fish. When I used to eat at quick food placed, a local chain calledTaco Del Mar, they often had fish burrito's if not tacos too.

Fish Tacos are delicious! I need some unfussy ideas for using mussels at home. I cook them in a white wine-sausage-pesto broth and serve with bread or over pasta, but I'd like some alternative ways to go with them.

(maybe with some chives, garlic - or even both mixed in) Don't forget to add the butter to to those spuds - but don't sell margarine short. I once put Blue Bonnet Margarine on a Ritz Cracker. Since Everything's Better with Blue Bonnet and Everything Tastes Good on a Ritz, I started an uncontrollable chain reaction of Goodness that threatened to consume the planet. Fortunately, I got it under control as soon as I ate the cracker.

I’ve been on a blanching kick lately, so I’d probably blanch the collards first. Then chop them with some jalapeños (love that “bite” in my cooked greens)
I love all the recipes from ATK, and since you are working on a lot of taco recipes, I would recommend to do Chile relleno taco, longanisa con papas taco, you would Love them.
Julia , Because I been thru two heart attacks .. Salmon is perfect .. thou I would make one change is that I would use corn tortillas .. I found out that flour tortillas are made with laird which I experience heart discomforts .. but yes great recipe .. Thank You 😊

Looks interesting (sans radish and hot sauce) but I've never seen collard greens or Jicama in central OR where I reside. Used to get it in San Diego when we lived there. Any thoughts on substitutes that might also go well?

Yes the knife games, when slicing onions. Also how teary can my eyes be.
I DO find your eyes are less teary if you keep them sharp, also I think Julia has pointed out the orientation you cut the onions also helps too.
