I grow herbs like mint, coriander,basil,ajwain some other greens like palak ,methi in small pots so I never store them in fridge.one can replace some of their flower pots or plant pots to grow these things.this way we can eat fresh and save some money and hassle to store them.its my opinion hope you like it.rest of all the hacks are genius.

I wash, dry and then store whole ginger in a glass jar filled with water while changing the water every 3 days.. it lasts for longer time. I have used it for a month. I get half a kg at a time..
