Nice work. You go further than I do. Spraying them is a great idea. I just drain and coat the bowl with trans fluid. Removed and drained the tanks on my bikes. The tanks get 3 or 4 oz of trans fluid rolled around in them to prevent rust. Why trans fluid? Because I have a nice supply that needs used up and it works.
One of my Coleman tanks started corroding because I didn't do this last year.
