  • Warren Ralls came from England in 2011 and built his first Legacy Mini Halfwood Press, number 89, in Bill Ritchie's Halfwood Press Workshop in Seattle. The video shows Bill's test of the finished press, along with details about the packaging and the Printmakers Toolkit. Warren tests it after Bill, and in the last seconds Warren is shown packing it in his carry-on bag and heading for the airport and home to the UK. There he set up a workshop and assembled several more presses, plus he took a trip to Italy to receive the Silver Award in the A'Design Competition in Milan where he displayed his press at the opening and reception held at Lake Como.

Thank you, Sybill (sp?), yes, it works! Thank you for watching this old video. Did I mention Warren told me the customs inspector said, "You've got a real piece of history thre, son!" It's true, and i just finished my autobiography, "Escape Emeralda," this week and Warren's story is in it. - Bill

Thank you for your reply and bit of the press's history. Warren is a master craftsman.
