Thanks for video. One thing reviewers always omit is the reporting of end of tax year gains and dividends. This is very painful to work out every year on some broker sites, e.g. interactive investor and Barclays to name just two. T212 is great however.

That's a good point! Especially now at the beginning of the year when people start to think about taxes.

thanks for kind words, I was debating if 20mins is too long, but that's just 4-5mins on each platform.

Yoo good video!! I have a TR account but only for savings. I have a account on Degiro and maybe want to switch to ibkr or Tr. My strategy is 1 etf and have it for 20+ years. I heard that you cant transfer fromt TR to some other brokers because TR uses only one exchange. Do you know if this is true? TR offers the option but I heard IBKR doesnt accept because of the use of only one exchange.

thaanks! Sorry don't know, I haven't moved anything from TR. Try to ask on Reddit, you might get people that have done it or tried to do it.

I also liked this video but there is one point what I didn’t find correct or maybe I am mistaken. When I bought 1 shares of SXR8 ETF on Interactive Broker for a trial, 3€ were charged as transaction fee. In this video you mentioned 1.2€ (or sg similar) per transaction in case of 1000€ transaction. 3€ was maybe because I bought it in EUR? In USD would have been cheaper?

HI Daniel, I buy in euros and from EU exchanges.
But I think you are on the fixed fee structure and I'm on tiered (you can change it in settings).
I didn't remember to mention this, but also maybe it's a bit too detailed for people that are just discovering which platform to use.
The pricing differences between the two fees (depends on country): www.interactivebrokers.com/en/pricing/commissions-stocks-europe.php?re=europe

@@regularrobert-euthanks a lot! I checked the difference between the two pricing structures and looks like that tiered is better for smaller investments so it is cheaper for recurring, smaller installments.
