by the way, korras spirituality was way better than aangs by the end of her show but people arent ready for that convo, also the way the avatar state works is that you gain access to all of the knowledge and skills of the past avatars, meaning korras avatar state was better than aangs (before she lost connection) but even after that we see her tap into her own spirit which was insane, also her energy bending to save kuvira at the end of the show proves shes the better energy bender, she can also metal bend, so tbh korra is better than aang at everything except airbending
They already explained what happened in between series in the comics (basically ATLA and LoK Books 4 and 5). They even have a prequel to ATLA in the Kyoshi book trilogy. Still it would be interesting to see your take on it.
I have no problem with people putting politics in comics. It's a practice made since the beginning, but some writers do change unnecessary things and some are incredibly immature about it when they're met with criticism, I Am Not Starfire is a very infamous example. Look at the new Static Shock comic. A small change like that can drastically change the entire dynamic of the whole story.
I feel politics can have a place in comics, but it has to be nuanced. For instance, how the X-men are an Analogy for race with professor x representing Martin Luther King and Magneto doing Malcom X. It gives the message without layering it on while also having fun. Now, it’s just blatant and annoying

It honestly wouldn't have changed the outcome of the fight. It doesn't give Korra enough of a boost to make her win, especially since Storm has fought beings vastly more powerful and has won. Heck, Knull, the God of the Symbiotes, considered her a possible threat due to her power to summon lighting and control the elements, especially if it had to do with light. There are comics that show aang growing up and show what happened up to Korra its actually interesting that they went into the spiritual side in her story aang did too but she did go through alot they are both great avatars.
I believe the hate mainly came from story events. Korra is powerful and had her own struggles, but I found it easier to connect with Aang. I also wasn't big on the first 2 seasons, but 3 and 4 made me enjoy Korra. We also can't discount that Aang had to deal with the genocide of his people because he ran away. All I'm saying is that trashing a character does not make your character better, try to understand what both did
Guys I'm pretty sure the original x-men weren't based on MLK and Malcolm X the original not what we have now. They turned into references for them when Chris Claremont took over writing the stories which is the team we know of in the 90's and late 80's. I actually really enjoyed The Legend of Korra, of course not as much Avatar The Last Airbender . I think Korra gets a lot of hate because of how good Aang was.
Kora really thought she ate this battle she really thought she ate but Storm was like “Girl pipe down let me get that plate” lol 😭🤦🏾♂️
To be fair seeing how much stronger storm is, Korra still got some good hits in
@@waitwhat9337 yeah she did, but omega level mutants are no joke and plus Storm has probably fought opponents that has each of Korra’s ability tbh. Also Storm is way more meta lol.
Welcome back! ( and please do a reaction to the sonic 2 movie trailer, it looks really good!) keep up the great videos!
Love your videos been a fan since 2015 😃
There are comics that show aang growing up and show what happened up to Korra its actually interesting that they went into the spiritual side in her story aang did too but she did go through alot they are both great avatars.
I want you all to see the Deathbattle 2 deathbattles ahead you guys behind lol
The original team wasn't really selling well and they revamped it by doing a new team with all new members but cyclops stayed on from the old team.
Stan lee himself said they were based on them
@@ezekieltete6584 Is there somewhere I can see a vid or article with him saying that not being antagonistic or anything just want to have the right info is all
I love your guys reaction and I'm that glad that you guys are back ❤️🇿🇦
I missed you guys ❤️
Happy Women's Equality Day ♀️🟰 from Death Battle!
I can’t wait for the madara vs aizen death battle
They had me worried when Korra was unrelenting in the Spirit World but thankfully logic prevail!
12:45 everybody knows that lol, I think it's really cool that you talked about that because it is really interesting but I feel like everyone knows that fact, except for the X Men movie writers that is.
People who thought kora wouldve won because of avatar state
Wake up to reality
12:34 - by the 1990s, The X-Men had gained a new audience: LGBT. 1992 saw the very first openly gay mutant superhero, NorthStar, and the LGBT readers were given a nod now and then inside the comic books. It's basically all the same fight.
It was hard for me to pick in this fight. Also, I agree. A lot of people don’t like Korra, and don’t get me wrong she did make some annoying stupid choices, but she’s a teenager, and also I like her personality a lot. Korra savage moments always gets me, she reminds me of young Katara when it comes to not backing down (I constantly think of Katara smacking Pakku with a water whip for not training her for being a female, and think that’s something Korra would do 😂)
You guys should react to Madara vs Aizen now it’s amazing!
anyone who knows comics knows Storm had this in the bag, idk what death battle was thinking lol
Welcome back
