    You saved my valentines day gift, took about 3 hours since it was my first time using clay but was very fun. You made it look extremely easy. ( I also used the Kato PolyClay)

    nice is it polymer or normalgracy clay? i want to smopth surface what liquide should i use?

      Sorry I missed this. I usually use earthen ware clay and smooth with the side of my finger or sometimes a lightly dampened sponge. I will use the same method with air dry clay. My experience is that less water is better. Too much water creates more smears and finger prints. I am not sure about polymer clay as it has been so long since I have used it.

      I use Earthenware Clay, which needs to be fired in the kiln. You can also use air dry clay.

    Why you make a hole on back side

      If you use Earthenware Clay, you need to make a hole in the thick areas to keep it from bursting apart in the kiln. If you use air dry clay there is no need for a hole.
