  • In this video I teach you how to build a simple Aircrete machine for small projects that makes foam to add to your concrete. It costs no more than $30 and it works like a champ. It will take you 15 minutes to build. Unlike some other designs out there this one is compact, easy to use and will not drip soap all over the place.
    for the soap: mix one part of Suave Essentials Shampoo Daily Clarifying and 50 parts water by weight you can use a kitchen scale to measure.
    Make sure your concrete mix is somewhat liquidy, if it's too solid it will not mix correctly with the foam.
    Make sure to watch the updated design

    No cutting, no gluing, no duct taping! You can still use your paint gun since you didn't damage it. Amazing that the PVC thread just fit the air gun thread. I have been watching DIY foaming gun making videos for 3 years now. This is by far the easiest. You can make 4 of these in parallels and get high volume. You can even use electric paint spray gun and potentially no need for air compressor. Keep the good job man.

      Hmmm! Good idea. But wouldn't it be slow? And also, the electric sprayers I've seen are still logged about with a very huge air compressor.

    I tried that, but had a tube feed for the top. It worked okay. I also found that just a small amount of glycerine in the water makes the bubbles stronger. They last longer.

  • @italogiardina8183

    Very Occam's razor approach to the construction, although for using to mix concrete add glycerol to keep bubbles intact long enough for the aerated concrete to harden.

    I was a bit skeptical about this but when I tried it, the result was above expectation. However, I suggest you consider replacing steel wool with steel window mesh since steel wool tends to rust and may change the color of the foam. Other than this, it's a marvelous brilliant idea and for a $40 I got a genuine air gone. Thank you a lot

    I notice people either do not know or they avoid the one question that should be ask, How stable or the bubbles and density. I can make bubbles with a Kitchen blender but the Bubbles do not have the stability of the density for use in Aircrete. I think the biggest problem is size.

    • @ItaiLeshniak
      @ItaiLeshniak  2 роки тому

      Make sure you are not losing pressure from the water tank, the tank needs to be 100% air tight. You may also have too much steel wool, it must be aerated or you will have too much back pressure. Your compressor should be set to low PSI.
